Felt like a comfortable home

My wife and I met our son in Estes Park for a long weekend. This home was perfect for us, and it has quite well-appointed kitchen. The balcony and rocking chairs were my favorite. The location makes walking to downtown possible but keeps the traffic noise at a minimum. This home is well-maintained and we all said it looks more like a personal home than a rental place. Loved it, would go back.

Weekend wedding stay

Perfect apartment for my stay with grandson and his wife. We were able to participate in a family wedding and enjoy the beautiful mountain town as well. The unit was well stocked with info and whatever was needed. Most comfortable and amenities were in good taste.

GREAT location!!

We were lucky to snag this reservation after someone canceled. The location was perfect. Not on the main drag but really close which made it easy to get around every day. The condo was clean, nice and quite welcoming. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice and convenient sit.

Had a good stay at the condo and was everything expected. The ongoing road construction made the walk to town a little more difficult though not the condo’s fault. Could use four comfortable chairs on the outside deck for four people!

Perfect home base for the park

This was our first trip to RMNP and the condo was the perfect home base. We were so comfortable here it felt like home. It’s only minutes from the park entrance or the town. There’s a great mountain view from inside and the deck, and we saw elk and deer in the yard. Would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful estes park condo

Perfect distance from both rocky mountain NP and Estes park.- you felt out of the hustle and bustle but close enough for convenience. Amazing views outside on the deck as well! We loved our stay!

May vacation

Probably the BEST stocked kitchen in a vrbo I’ve ever seen. My only comment is that there is a LOT of road construction in this area of Estes Park. Directions to the condo can be a bit complicated but no issues once we got there.

Comfort and convenience

We stayed at Cozy Condo for a week and found it to be a comfortable place when not out in the surrounding mountains. It was also convenient to town and RMNP. We enjoyed watching elk from the balcony.

This condo was perfect location. It was very clean and kitchen was well equipped with all that we needed The only thing that could have made our stay better was a more comfortable mattress Otherwise everything was perfect!

Immaculate!

Immaculately clean! That was my first impression entering Rat's Rest. The condo was just perfect for our stay with my husband, daughter and son in law. We were in town for a wedding and didn't want to stay in a hotel. We were all so glad that Rat's Rest was our choice! The location was perfect. Walking distance to Estes Park Brewery and town, 2 beautiful bedrooms with hand-made quilts on the bed. Each Bedroom has it's own full bathroom. There is a full-size kitchen with just about anything you would want for cooking as well as a full washer/dryer. The bathroom towels were large and plush. We appreciated all the hiking books and also that the condo has WiFi. We never turned it on but there is a TV also. You are minutes from the Beaver Meadow entrance to RMNP. We stayed at Rat's Rest Thursday through Monday and then camped in RMNP for 3 days. We should have just stayed at the condo and gone into the park each day. We were that close. Be aware there is LOTS of road construction in Estes Park! Carefully review the owner's driving directions. We tried to get there using Waze and drove around in circles for 30 minutes! The owner's directions, when I finally looked at them, were spot on! We all can't wait to go back again!

Great stay in Estes Park

My sister and I enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was very comfortable and very close to everything. We were aware beforehand that the condo did not have AC but it did get pretty warm during the day. We usually had a breeze and there were fans. Only negative was the sharp flight of stairs to enter the condo so if you are older or have physical challenges you will need to be aware that you have to carry all luggage and other items up that flight of stairs. We really enjoyed our July 2023 stay.

Awesome Location, But needs to be cleaned

We stayed at this condo for 4 nights and the location to downtown is perfectly walkable. Having a balcony on the second story unit was a beautiful way to unwind and relax! The host is very responsive and provided all we asked for. Unfortunately my wife and daughter after the first night woke up with multiple bites on their skin from head to toe. After a teledoc appointment we believe the bites to be bedbugs. We have let the owner know, but she says nothing was found physically in the bedroom yet. I stayed in the opposite bedroom and I do not have any bites. Disclaimer that we did no hiking and we came from our normal residence for this trip. I would caution anyone on this property until the left bedroom is properly cleaned and the mattress/linens replaced/fumigated.

Excellent Stay at Cozy Condo in Estes

This property is an excellent choice if you want plenty of room with 2 bdrm/2 bath privacy and a well-appointed kitchen for cooking! It was clean, very nicely decorated, comfortable and quiet, and in an excellent location! You will be within an easy walk of Downtown Estes Park but far enough away to avoid crowds and noise. The balcony is perfect for enjoying the mountain air and views! We will return!

Nice condo in quiet neighborhood

The condo was nice and the neighborhood was quiet but still not too far from downtown. Interactions with property owner / manager were pleasant, would consider staying there again in the future.

This was a great location and very cozy. Great views of the mountains, watching the sunrise and sunset! Bonus: watching elk walk/ run down below our deck and the road!!
