The Hotel is clean and modern but there were no bathroom accessories except for the shower gel on the wall and handwash and hand lotion on the basin. The bathroom and bedroom were small and no refrigerator. Housekeeping is only done on request. Breakfast was nice but basic. I asked for a shower cap but they do not provide them. The redeeming feature was the location next to the station with food and various other stores within the station. However, the hotel was well insulated and not affected by outside noise.

Very nice room, clean and with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet (which I booked for €17.90 during check-in) was also worthwhile - with English breakfast, small breads, all kinds of cheeses and meats and vegan options.

Perfect verblijf gehad in Premier Inn Essen City Centre. De ligging om naar de stad te lopen is superkort: nog geen drie minuten en je staat in de hoofdstraat/op de kerstmarkt. De kamer was brandschoon, het bed prima, snelle en vriendelijke incheck en we hadden geluk dat onze auto op de gesloten parking kon staan. Die is niet al te groot en kost wel 15 euro per nacht. Het ontbijt is ook uitstekend verzorgd en je kunt ook nog tikje uitslapen want duurt tot 11.00 uur. Al met al grote aanrader.

Hotel is 5 minuten lopen vanaf het treinstation en 10 minuten lopen naar de kerstmarkt. Wij kwamen 2 uur voor de in check tijd aan maar konden zonder problemen naar onze kamer toe.
