It is very unclear where the entry of the building is, 3 other guests were searching where to go to. As apprently the general building whereby rooms are for the hotel but also tennants are, you need to know ... (HOW??) that the reception is on the the 4th floor. No explanation about anything here. Appartment was PERFECT! Very clean nice shower, ;large room. No facilities in the area.

BEWARE:this is NOT a hotel with a full service spa

Not a hotel. It‘s a time-share, mostly catering to students and young professional with student habits and lifestyles. Some larger units are rented out as „hotel suites“. Brucklyn DOES NOT offer full service spa facilities ANY time of the year! Culture of the place seems to be to treat all paying clients as – potentially delinquent – teenagers, to be pacified based on deliberately misleading information. Examples: - INTERNET had sporadic outages. Hausmeister came, declared there was indeed a problem with access point, referring us to an external service provider. Meanwhile, hotel manager delightedly declared the problem fixed! Problem persisted throughout our stay. - Late Check out request via hotels.com messaging (24 h bf dept.) simply ignored. - Shower water dial went off during house cleaning, soaking house cleaner top to bottom. The temporary fix didn’t last either. - On hotels.com, Brucklyn advertises the SAUNA heavily; their own web page claims it is available “any time” (“jederzeit). In reality, it’s open only a few hours some days in winter and CLOSED ALTOGETHER from April 1st until Sept. 30th ! Hotel manager refused to “exceptionally” let us use the spa even once during a four day stay, even when we offered extra payment! She blamed hotels.com and argued that the outdoor pool was open instead. Outside temperature that day: 5°C, 40°F. - Numerous quirks in the unit itself, due to bad design/planning. =>Better value options nearby for both short or long stays.
