This is a beautiful, clean, well-maintained home in a great location, and I wanted to love it. My family thoroughly enjoyed the lower level for playing pool and hanging out. Unfortunately, two factors prevent me from rating it with five stars. First, I was disappointed to find the open carport, clearly shown in the VRBO photos, had been converted into an inaccessible garage. The carport was a selling feature I considered while selecting this property. That should have been disclosed in the VRBO description, and those photos should be replaced so others are not misled into thinking they have a carport to park in. Second, the ladybugs in the house are a real problem. Upon arrival, the square living room light was swarmed with ladybugs. We had to vacuum up ladybugs several times a day in the primary bedroom bath. We vacuumed up 15-20 ladybugs in that bathroom alone several times per day. I understand little can be done to keep them out of the house. However, there must be effective indoor traps that minimize the impact on guests. I would not complain if we had to deal with a few ladybugs each day. However, this was an infestation that seriously dampened the pleasure of our vacation. The ladybugs are concentrated in the primary bathroom, where they were crawling all over both sinks and our toiletries. We vacuumed them up several times a day, but the bug volume never decreased during our six-day stay. If this can't be resolved, a warning should be included in the VRBO ad.
