Beware of Scam: Unresponsive Host and Lack of Support from VRBO

Unfortunately, my experience with this VRBO rental was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The host was unresponsive from the beginning, leaving me feeling uncertain and uneasy about my upcoming stay. Despite my attempts to reach out, there was no communication whatsoever. Adding to the ordeal, VRBO's customer support proved to be unhelpful and unwilling to assist. Instead of addressing the issue promptly, they insisted I keep the reservation after the host finally responded, even though it was a month later. This lack of support left me feeling abandoned and powerless as a customer. Moreover, the behavior of the host was incredibly sketchy. They attempted to persuade me to cancel the reservation outside of the app, likely in an effort to avoid VRBO's policies and ensure they received full payment. This blatant attempt at manipulation further eroded my trust in both the host and the platform I never received the address to the property still waiting to see if I receive my refund.
