The Orr House in Ennis

The Orr House is a stunning well appointed home, located in the Madison Valley, only a short distance from the Madison River, Ennis Lake and Ennis, Montana. Originally built in the early 1990 by the owner's parents, the lodge was recently renovated with care to maintain the original western feel but bring in an elegant eclectic atmosphere. The space is perfect for intimate family or gatherings with friends. The house sleeps 6 easily in 3 bedrooms and has a massive hand-hewn long dining table, able to accommodate up to 12. Outdoor seating and dining with views of the Madison Range make it the perfect place to entertain guests.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Perfectly Serene Accommodations

We visited the Orr House in August 2023 and were so impressed with the home and its beautiful setting! We enjoyed dinner every night on the back patio, then would go for a "wildlife expedition drive" at dusk. We saw more types of animals 1/2 mile from the house than we did all day at Yellowstone! Many deer, some antelope, osprey and on 2 nights we encountered 2-3 moose. The house itself was just as charming and comfortable as the pictures showed. We loved the decor and the views! Having a fully stocked kitchen was wonderful as we grilled out every night. The only things we felt would have been nice to have is a second king sized bed and the addition of a tv in the other 2 bedrooms. Other than that, we loved the home! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great property! The house met the expectations from both photos and the description. The views were absolutely stunning with the added perk of wildlife visits which were so fun to watch. The house was so well stocked and we truly felt right at home. Close to Ennis yet still out far enough to have the amazing views. Kathy, the property manager, was great and even checked on us a few times. We would definitely stay here again.

Orr House

Orr house is a great place to stay.. 5 min from Ennis in the country. Great view from the front and back and deer strolling though every morning we were there. The kitchen has everything you need. Barbeque on the back deck while looking at the Madison Range is outstanding. Great Place!!!

Beautiful Spot near Ennis with Stunning Views

This home is absolutely stunning and offers every amenity you could possibly want for a vacation and/or longer term stay. We spent a lot of time on both decks watching sunrises/sunsets over the mountains. The spot is close by to a couple of great fishing access spots + is a quick drive into town.
