The view was absolutely stunning. Picture postcard perfect!! The house was very clean and had everything you needed for your stay. The washer and dryer was very nice to have to get caught up on the dirty clothes. We saw mule dear right out the living and bedroom windows one evening and the sunset is not to be missed. The hosts, Jean and John are easy to get in touch with and very accommodating if you need anything during your stay. All in all we would definitely stay there again to visit Yellowstone National Park which was only 30 minutes away & did I mention the view lol it’s worth mentioning twice!!

Jean and John were such a welcoming host! Very clean, organized, and quiet home! Did I mention the views? Oh the views were absolutely breathtaking spectacular!! Our dog loved the trails that go around the house and we did too! Came to Yellowstone to get married and this was the absolute perfect place for my wife and I to spend time together! 10/10 would recommend and we will be back! Love from Illinois!

Spectacular Mountain Top View

The lodging accommodations were comfortable and clean. Check in procedure was easy. Plan to arrive during day light hours as the drive up the mountain off the main paved road may make you feel little uncertain about arriving at the correct location. Lots of mule deer in the area.

Magical View

Our stay (July 2024) was the perfect location with a magical view of the mountains and valley. The location is conveniently located between Livingston and the North Entrance of Yellowstone/Gardiner. The retreat is immaculately clean with all the resources of home to include a fully functional kitchen and washer/dryer. All of the windows in the front of the house provide breathtaking views of the valley below and the mountains in the distance. We even had rabbits and deer in the front yard in the evenings. Jean was a great host and quickly replied to any questions we had. A great stay!!!

Beautiful mountain getaway

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 young kids and it was perfect.The place was clean, had everything we needed and the view is absolutely breathtaking! Town is so cute! It’s a short drive to Yellowstone park and Livingston. We would definitely return here again!!

Best Rental Ever

My wife and I took our 5 year old granddaughter to Yellowstone and thought Emigrant, Montana would be a good base camp. Jean and John’s house proved to be the best vacation rental of the 15 or so we have rented. The view of the mountains is stunning and the house is wonderfully quiet and secluded. We will be back for certain, 5+++ stars!

Father Son trip

I took my 82yr old Father out west to visit Yelowstone for the first time. Instead of the hotel route, we decided to try something different, a house in the mountains. Everything was perfect and described accurately. Waking up with that view was absolutely breath taking. Would definitely recommend.

Great view to wake up to every morning!

Property was even more than described! Large bedrooms and living space, well stocked kitchen, updated bathroom, and access to large outdoor area. By far the highlight was the stunning view of the surrounding valley and mountains, Watched the sunrise over the mountains each morning. Space is incredibly well insulated, could not hear any outside or upstairs noise. Could not even hear the others in our party in the living room or their bedrooms. Owners were very helpful in responding to questions and left a great info sheet on the surrounding area and things that are available. We used several of their recomendations and highly recommend. Had visits by several deer each morning and evening. Overall, great property and highly recommend.

Amazing views, close to Yellowstone and comfy!

We loved this house! Jean was a great communicator answering all our questions quickly. The view could not be beat! We really appreciated that the comforters were fluffy. We went to Yellowstone daily and it worked perfectly. We stopped at the Yellowstone Hot Springs one night which was relaxing! The kitchen was also stocked with everything we needed. All 6 of us recommend this house!

Amazing Views

The location couldn't have been more perfect. We loved waking up to the most amazing view each morning. Everything we needed was provided. The proximity to the places we visited were on spot. My only complaint wold be, i wis we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful time in Emigrant!

Nice cozy apartment with incredible views. As a matter of fact, the online pictures don’t do the views justice. John and Jean are great hosts! You will never know they are upstairs as you will never hear them. They shared many local activities and places to eat. If we ever return to the area, we will most definitely return to their apartment!
