Flat Creek Falls-Ellijay Vacation
The house perfectly accommodated our big family, we enjoyed our stay other than a few minor inconveniences.
This home was extremely beautiful and peaceful! It was very relaxing place to stay, super clean. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to booking again. The host was perfect and addressed any concerns we had, from before check in until after checking out!!! Thanks
House was just wonderful. Town of Ellijay was quaint and friendly! We spent the other day with complete R&R watching football. Great day as our teams all won!
This property is amazing. There is a creek in the back yard. We saw several deer and enjoyed the hot tub and back deck.
The furniture and beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked.
The driveway is a little steep but once you have been there, you know what to expect.
We had an absolutely wonderful time and plan on coming back again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this location and hope to return again sometime. There is a great screened-in porch on the back where we enjoyed relaxing and looking at the woods. There was also a small river that you could hear on the back porch which was also very nice. The property was clean and well maintained. The beds, sofas, and other furniture were also clean and very comfortable. Again, we plan on going back in the future. Our visit there was a wonderful experience.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very clean and cozy. There was plenty of room for my family of 12. The kids loved going to the recreation center and swimming, playing basketball, tennis, and mini golf. We also enjoyed the hot tub and games at the cabin. The only issue for me was the steep driveway, but other than that everything was good. There was a lot of deer in the neighborhood which was pleasant to see. We definitely recommend this cabin.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had 9 people, and the home could have slept 12+ comfortably, especially if they were kids and not couples. Every couple had their own bathroom. The hot tub, outdoor seating, and fire pit were great. The little trail was also quaint. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with friends or family, this is a great spot.
The only two things with the stay that could be greatly improved for future stays are the check out and cleaning policy. The checkout is 10AM, which is an hour earlier than the standard time for many places. A 10AM checkout made our Sunday morning feel really frantic, even with waking up early. Part of the frantic-ness was due to the early check out, coupled with the cleaning. Even with a three hundred dollar cleaning fee for two nights, we still had to do a ton of labor: all the trash, clean all the dishes (with 9+ people, you will likely have to do multiple loads if you decide to eat in), pull towels, and wipe down counters so there’s no crumbs.
This home had more than enough space for my family to spread out, grandparents, parents, and kids. During our annual family vacation, we always feel like we're on top of one another, but not in this house! The basement was incredible for the kids. The beds were all comfortable. The trail behind the house leads to the creek below, and it was a beautiful hike. It was definitely steep, but you can tell they have done a lot of work (sturdy stairs where possible) to make it doable for most people. We did run into a few home repair issues during our stay, but the property management team was quick to respond in those instances. The most frustrating parts of the week were related to location. Every time we came through the community gate, we were challenged and told that our names were not on the list. The property management team confirmed they gave our names as required, but it was never really resolved. Once you get past the gate, the roads, while well maintained, are quite narrow and windy. No complaints here, just pointing out that it takes more time than you expect to get to the house and anywhere else in the community. Final note about the location is that you do have to pay a fee per person, per day to take advantage of the amenities in the community (pool, etc). It is quite a hassle to even get the passes. The fee combined with how long it takes to get to the pools resulted in not using those community amenities much at all. Overall, the house itself was wonderful!
