Better Than Imagined

My husband and I stayed a week and we were spoiled! This house is beautiful and had ALL the amenities we could ask for. The pier on the lake was so relaxing and quiet. The neighborhood friendly and safe. The landlords were more than accomodating, making sure we had everything we needed, easy to get a hold of and personable. We had a great experience here and would book again in a heartbeat. Thank you to our landlords for making our stay memorable and easy!

Labor Day weekend

Had a very nice stay at this charming cottage! Spent mornings and evenings enjoying the dock. Cottage was very comfortable a well stocked. Owner very friendly and accommodating.

Just a Great Cottage for a Long Weekend!

Cypress Cottage was extremely well appointed/decorated with all the amenities necessary for a couple to stay at. The owner was gracious in letting us check-in early so we could drop our luggage off and get groceries and supplies for our 4day Memorial Weekend. My wife and I wanted just wanted to getaway as well as explore family history on my wife's side as her mother's lineage settled in Ivanhoe , NC in 1767. We saw historical family homes, grave yard and churches. It was just awesome!

I’m absolutely in love with this property!! It is beautiful and has everything that one needs for a relaxing getaway. The host is so thoughtful in all of the extras with this property, and the views are breathtaking. I will definitely be back!!!

Elated with this location!!

We extended another day - we enjoyed so much! Loved the view from the sunroom, the extended dock, full kitchen and den, huge bedroom and bathroom w walk in shower. An office area so I could do a zoom mtg. So relaxing. We went to Elizabethtown for groceries, the bakery,farmers market,the Winery w petting zoo and walking trails!!! Ready to go again. We were in a gated community. Felt safe,secure and so many lakes around!!

A slice of the best pie ever

From start to finish our stay was absolutely off the charts. This place is truly next level! We enjoyed every single day. We didn’t even leave once we got there! Tricia and Michael our wonderful host! Everything you need is there! Everything! We have stayed many places and this one tops them all. Do not hesitate to book this gem! We will Be back!

Gorgeous!

I came here to have some peace and quiet to write my dissertation proposal, and the cottage did not disappoint! From the time I checked in, Tricia was helpful, responsive, and so very kind. I worked on the dock on the water every day for many hours in total privacy and serenity. When I finally allowed myself time to stop working, the swing at the very end of the dock was the perfect place to be. The cottage itself was spotless and fully stocked with any of the essentials I could have possibly needed—including coffee and tea! I loved my stay here, and I will definitely be back when I can just relax and fully enjoy it. Oh, and if you need it for wireless speakers or anything, the Wi-Fi reaches out to the dock, so you’ll be set. Thank you for an awesome experience!

Memories

The Cottage was absolutely beautiful. Lake view was priceless. We visited during the Holiday weekend. Very well organized and plenty of amenities. Our Host was Amazing. Just short trip to Carolina Beach. 5 stars all the way. We plan to visit again. If your looking for a retreat away to relax and disconnect this is it. Beautiful dock on the lake with swing and chairs.
