Fishing trip.

Lovely home, very clean and cozy. Horrible stairs to home level. My knees were so sore every night. Although I admit my age is over 60. Also, could use an extra chair in the living area. All in all a nice place to stay.

We own property across the road that does not have enough space for our modest family of 16 so we rented this for our children and grandchilden. It was way better than expected! Beautiful place! Thank you! Very clean and modern!

Fun quick weekend playing disc golf in nearby richard b russell park, house was perfect. If they ever put a dock on the property it will be amazing.

Nice small garage lake home. Like a home away from home it has everything we needed for a few days of fishing. Comfortable couch and beds after all day on the lake. Our second time using the home...... We'll be back.

Great place to kayak

Enjoyed being a short walk to the water and using the kayaks, playing ping pong, roasting marshmallows over a fire, and resting easy on the comfy beds. Very peaceful!

Perfect location for spending time in Richard Russell state park. Make sure to check the Nest thermostat and make sure the schedule isn’t set to heat every 3 hours!!

Just what we needed

The check in was smooth as butter and the house is super cute. The kids had a wonderful time and watching Bambi and his family graze in the mornings was a plus! The owners were easy to talk to and everything was just what we needed. Will definitely stay again!

Great getaway spot

We loved our stay here. It is such a comfortable cottage. We stayed here because our daughter was playing in a golf tournament at Lake Russell State Park and this could not have been more convenient. It was a wonderful home away from home!

Perfect Stay for Our Group

We had a golf tournament in the state park just a mile away. The cabins in the park were booked, but this home turned out to be a better option. My team had a blast playing ping pong, cards, arcade basketball, and fuss ball in the massive three car garage. We brought cornhole boards and we had room to do that in that dry space as well. We hope to stay here every year when we attend this event!!

Steps to the lake

Great location for lake Russell access to several boat ramps and Lake Russell state park. Nice home for a small family, or a couple, so long as stairs are not an issue for you. The owner was super fast to respond to questions before our trip which helped us plan ahead. We did find some dishes and silverware that had dried food on them most likely from the previous renter washing them in the dishwasher without rinsing them off first, but overall the house was nice, comfortable and clean especially for a lake home in the woods. We saw deer and other wildlife every day. We enjoyed our stay and will most likely rent again in the future.

Juggin trip

Wonderful place to enjoy the natural beauty of Lake Russell. The ping pong table, foosball, kayaks and basketball goal were hits with kids. The cabin was clean and had everything to make it a home away from home. There was plenty of room for our large pontoon and Richard B Russell park was just 2 miles away to put the boat in the lake. The hosts were extremely accommodating and we will definitely rent the cabin again soon!
