The "Engineer's House" comes from the rehabilitation of the home of the engineer-head of mines at Las Herrerías, located at one end of the row of houses in Puerto de la Laja. The spectacular mineral pier and the village on the banks of the Guadiana River have been declared a Site of Cultural Interest by the Junta de Andalucía. The three existing chimneys are conserved in the two rooms and kitchen of the original house and the oven in the patio, the true heart of the house. Private pool 3.2 x 2.2 x 0.9 m, in season

Estupenda casa, muy rural

La casa es estupenda, limpia y cuidada, con una decoración rústica muy acogedora. La cocina está muy bien equipada. La alberca para bañarse le añade valor. Como recomendación creo que el exterior de la casa: patio y alrededores de la alberca deberían estar más cuidados.
