Excellent hôtel. Staff are all exceptional and very knowledgeable. We stayed there towards the end of the season but still plenty to do. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, allowed us late checkout with no charge but also gave us great recommendations for hikes and activities. Highly recommend.

Our room and bathroom were spacious and nice. I had a small fridge in the room. It was very clean. Staff were all excellent and helpful. Breakfast was decent and staff nice. Restaurant was just okay but not bad.

This is probably one of the best hotels in El Chalten. Excellent spacious rooms, pretty good breakfast, great views of Fitz Roy. The location was convenient and we just walked here from the bus station. Plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes within 5 minutes of walking. They have an elevator as well so it made it easier to get the bags to our room. The restaurant had excellent reviews though we didn't get time to try it out.

Great location and beautiful hotel

Pros: great location, beautiful view of the Mt Fitz Roy from the breakfast area and dining hall, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, good selection of complementary breakfast menu and friendly staff. Cons: the room is a bit small and pricey.

Decent newly built, on the main street and about 15 minute walk to the entrance to the National Park trails. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was okay. The water was shut off after midnight and the pipes kept making weird noises, keeping us up all night. We later found out that water had gone out in the whole town. Its less than a 10 minute walk from the bus station. Taxis in El Chalten are expensive as is everything else. We had dinner 2 nights at the restaurant. Though the food was good, and the service was good, we (wife and I) got sick with stomach cramps after our 2nd dinner. We couldn't try the breakfast, as we left for hikes early in the morning. A coffee maker and a fan in the room would have been nice. The room and bathroom were good size, with adequate seating and great views of Mt Fitzroy.

I would think it twice before booking again

It’s a nice property, and the employees at reception are helpful, but they gave us a room right below kitchen, for which we were woken up at 5:30 by the noise. I think it’s very inconsiderate and disrespectful, so recommend you to avoid room 204 Also, breakfast is very limited for a hotel of this kind of hotel!

El Chalten solo hiking trip

I’m very glad I booked this hotel in El Chalten. The location is very central, less than 10min walking to the bus station and easy to get to trailheads and anything else. Very clean room with a comfortable bed. While the decor might be a bit older, the rooms are quite big and you don’t hear any noise from the wind. The breakfast is really great. The staff were super nice and helped arrange transfers for me to different hiking areas, as well as give advice on which days to hike which trails based on the weather. You can borrow a hiking pole if you need from the front desk, or rent some across the street. Highly recommend!

This was on the Main Street in El Chalten and walking distance from the bus station and the hotel has very comfortable rooms with great views . The breakfast is plentiful and has excellent food options but it the staff that make the stay here memorable. Tamara was incredible and so helpful and thoughtful during our stay as was Ana and Celeste . Francisco helped plan our hike to Fitz Roy and Gustavo went above and beyond to assist us . It is walking distance to all the restaurants and the trail heads at Parque Nacional Los Glacieres and I highly recommend staying at this hotel

Nice hotel in El Chalten about a 10 minute walk from the bus station. Lots of restaurants in the area. About a 15 minute walk to the park entrance and trails to Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. Room was large and clean. After long days of hiking I wish the room had a tub and shower rather than just a shower. I paid to have a room with a balcony but it was very small and didn’t have a chair for sitting outside. Next time I’d probably just go for the regular room.

Nice restaurant with a beautiful view. We ate there two out of three nights. Right on the Main Street of town. No way to adjust temperature in room as no thermostat- we had to open the door to cool the room.
