great stay / great hosts!

Adorable and cozy cabins located right on Lago Argentino. Pablo the owner was so incredibly kind and welcoming, and helped us with whatever we needed including calling us taxis and lending us a can opener! The beds were comfortable and once we figured out how to turn up the water heater, we had plenty of hot water. WiFi didn’t quite reach to our cabin though.

Obstructed view cabana

The cabanas are a good alternative to hotel in town stays usually for me, but in this case I honk in town is better. The cabanas are across the road from the lake and the low level of the lake makes for a great area for bird watching including Pink Flamingos. But an issue I had was we were given a cabana with an obstructed view. There are 4 cabanas with two being waterfront and the other two behind them. Although one or both of the front cabanas were not occupied most nights, we were given a back obstructed view one. Why? It is a common issue when booking with hotels.com to get the inferior rooms even when better ones are available. The hosts were great and friendly. I was just a little put off with the inferior cabin.
