You can access the house either from MA-3111 (Malaga - Comares), via a 2.5-km dirt track, which winds through the mountains that characterise this area of the inland part of the province of Malaga, or from the nearby MA-3114 road (Moclinejo - El Borge), which is connected to the property via a 3.5-km unpaved lane.
The holiday home, built and decorated with earth-related materials, such as stone, terracotta floors and wooden furniture, provide an authentic atmosphere. The spacious, double height living area is the property's main room, where you will find a comfortable seating space, a dining table, and an equipped galley corner. The wood-burning stove near the sofas provides a pleasant atmosphere, as do the two warm/cool air-con machines located in the bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor, and it's equipped with a double bed and a radiator, too; on the same level, you will also find the villa's bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. The second bedroom with a double bed is on the mezzanine, which you can access from the living room via a spiral staircase.

Loved it!
We came to this property to have peacefulness and tranquility while the rest of the world was on spring break.
The place was PERFECT!
We hiked the countryside, cooked dinner with fresh herbs from the garden on the wood fired grill, and meet a local foat farmer
The property is beautiful. The bed was comfortable. Every little detail was considered.
We had a fire in the fireplace and fell asleep after watching the moonrise.
Such a romantic, wonderful vacation.

A paradise in the mountains - and a great host
Our host, Jose, contacted us weeks before our vacation via Whatsapp and took the precaution of pointing out the (very!) mountainous location of this beautiful house. He gave us advices and sent us an explanatory dashboard-video plus gmaps-"checkpoints" so that we couldn't miss the house under any circumstances. However, a vehicle that can handle uneven roads and steep slopes is definitely a really good idea. Don't drive too fast and watch out for your passengers - it can be quite a little bumpy.But the way itself, a real adventure on its own, is worth it: the house is located in a kind of green oasis way up in the mountains, surrounded by fruit trees and flowers that are lovingly tended by Jose. The small pool is a great place for children and adults to cool off, and there are numerous small, quiet places to sit and lie down in the shadow of trees or patio roof everywhere. It is so calm!A highlight is the open, second floor in the house - like a maisonette or balcony with a bed above the living room and kitchen. The seamless and very courteous communication with Jose, who only speaks Spanish, and the immaculate condition, the modern and high-quality furnishings and equipment of the house - while carefully preserving the historical character of the house - deserve a particularly positive mention. We wanted for nothing, we were simply thrilled! Thank you for a really wonderful time in this beauftiful, dreamlike place.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sauber und schön.Schöne Aussicht.Die Straße zur Unterkunft ist jedoch sehr schlecht und ausgesetzt. Die Unterkunft liegt auch sehr weit in den Bergen 35 min bis zur nächst möglichen Einkaufsmöglichkeit oder Restaurant etc.Für ein Wochenende in Ordnung.

Traumhaft
Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus in den Bergen von Andalusien war einfach traumhaft! Die Lage ist atemberaubend mit spektakulärem Blick auf die umliegende Landschaft. Das Haus selbst ist gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, und wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Ruhe und Naturverbundenheit haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein kleines Paradies
José's Haus in den Hügeln ist wirklich der perfekte Ort für Ruhe, Entspannung und Zeit für sich. Das Haus ist schön gestaltet und gut durchdacht. Die Küche hat alles was man braucht. Die Umgebung. Der Weitblick und die Stille waren das absolute Highlight. Abkühlen im Pool und Sonnenbaden sind auch super. Die letzte Viertelstunde Anfahrt zum Haus über unbefestigte Straßen ist ein bisschen abenteuerlich und ich würde jedem empfehlen, ein automatikauto, das offroad fähig ist, zu mieten. Das hat uns sehr geholfen :) In einer halben Stunde ist man am Meer.
José ist ein toller Gastgeber, die Kommunkation war immer herzlich und zuvorkommend.
Wir werden noch lange von dem Ferienhaus schwärmen, es weiterempfehlen und hoffentlich irgendwann zurückkommen.

José et son épouse sont des hôtes charmants, la maison est très propre, tout est complet, même les serviettes.
Un vrai îlot de paradis dans les montagnes d’Andalousie.
Note importante, n’y allez pas avec des enfants, et n’y allez pas avec une voiture trop basse, la route pour y accéder est sportive, mais fabuleuse !

Los propietarios encantadores, tuvimos una comunicación perfecta en todo momento y gracias a sus indicaciones llegamos a la casa perfectamente.
La casa tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones tranquilas e ideales.
