We very much enjoyed the Craigie. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The staff were awesome. Restaurant and bar choices were wonderful. We took advantage of the bus stop across the street to get to Roslyn and Edinburgh.

You need to stay here!

I'd booked the wrong date by mistake, on arrival i realised and the woman on reception made a few calls, i then amended my booking to the correct date and luckily they had 1 room left! The staff went above and beyong with everything, service was fantastic, food was amazing, breakfast was amazing! The room was super clean and just what i needed after a 4 hour drive up from the midlands.

We really enjoyed the beer garden in the afternoon. The wait staff at the bar, dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was a little small but very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice too. We’d definitely recommend this hotel.

This was a return visit to The Craigie. We stayed here at the beginning & end of our visit to Scotland. It has good proximity to Edinburgh Airport without being in the middle of the hustle & bustle-about a 1/2 hour, 15 mile distance but on the west of the City. The hotel is very pleasantly situated with lovely rooms & a nice bar & restaurant.

The Craigie is excellent hotel with lovely rooms. Our dinner there was excellent. Our breakfast was also very good. The staff were helpful & friendly. My only negative comment is that the carpet in the dining area & on the stairs needs replacing; it is worn & stained.

This property is gorgeous, and the staff, including the owner, are wonderful. The room was spacious and very clean. We were there during a bit of a heat wave and the hotel provided a fan. Complimentary breakfast is off of the regular menu, and since the food is phenomenal, it really adds to the value of this incredible hotel. Deserves 10 stars!!

Really nice hotel, Staff were friendly, food offering was excellent, and not overpriced, top quality and varied breakfast options available, it was local whit week gala when we stayed so bar and restaurant were very busy staff were well organised and did not feel ignored. We stayed to attend Robbie concert in Edinburgh, it really easy to access park and ride (20 min drive) and there was a local bus stop that took you straight to Princes St right at the end of the drive. I am also told by a local that its well placed if you are going to a golf course iin the area!

Comfortable stay near Edinburgh

The Craigie had the best breakfast of anywhere we stayed during our trip to Great Britain. The room was plenty big for our family and had modern amenities. It was convenient for daily excursions to Edinburgh. It was also nice to have a big car park since we had rented a car for our trip. We would stay here again!
