The host was very prompt to answers all my questions and super nice. The view is spectacular! The pictures dont do it any justice! The home is very nice and clean. Plenty of space for our family of 6! Perfect location to go fishing or just relaxing indoors playing board games!!

Great Place

We needed a place to stay at very short notice for our family to come for a funeral. This provided us with the room for our family and the view was spectacular. Would love to come back on different circumstances and enjoy the view. Thank you for having us.

Our Top VRBO Stay

A great place to stay. Convenient to Fairgield Bay and Greers Ferry. This is a well-equipped place. Everything was great. The best feature is the amazing view from the deck.

Great View! Quiet Setting

We had a great weekend. Plenty of room for 7 guys who get together to play golf for a few days. The home had everything we needed. View is fantastic. Very relaxing weekend. Highly recommend.

The Middle Fork Lakehouse was an absolute delight to stay in. Check in and out was simple, house was clean and the place was so quiet. Even with three kids ranging from 8-13 the house is really built to keep outside sound out. The kids adored playing ping pong in the garage, my parents loved the deck and the stunning sunrise over the lake. The kitchen had room for all 8 of us with a dining table for 6 and two bar stools. The owners left popcorn and even epsom salt for the jacuzzi bathtub. We loved our stay and are already planning trips back for next summer!

We loved the house and location. I grew up in FairField Bay and come up quite often. This time we brought the entire family and spent most of the time on the lake. We had everything we could possibly need at this house. It was so nice to sit on the back porch and enjoy the view. We will definitely be back to rent this house again!

Perfect

Great home and great location. Gorgeous view off of back deck. Very clean and comfortable home with plenty of room, there was 8 of us. Kids loved the ping pong table in the garage. Upstairs was the perfect room for the teenagers. Home is close to many activities and restaurants. Perfect central location. Ryan was quick to answer any questions we had about the house and places to go have fun. Loved this home and would rent again!

Great place!

Rented the house for a guys weekend getaway! It was a perfect place to stay. The house was beautiful and very clean. The house is updated with great appliances, outdoor grill and very comfortable beds. The guys enjoyed the deck with a gorgeous view of the lake and the ping pong table for a little competition! It ended up being too cold to get on the lake, so they went to Fairfield Bay one afternoon to go bowling. There is ATV riding available by the bowling alley, but you have to call ahead to ride. Brandi was super to work with and an excellent host! Will definitely recommend this house to friends and family!

The view and property were beautiful. Honestly it was breathtaking. The house looks just like the pictures. The communication and getting into the property was great and we had no major problems. The only issue was that the house wasn’t very clean. Due to it being mentioned before, I hope they can get a cleaner in between guests that has more attention to detail. Dishes were not very clean, floors were really dirty, especially in the corners. Bath mats had hair and were discolored on the edges. The couches were discolored and needed a good clean. There is a lot I could mention, but we ended up just cleaning some ourselves. The only other issue worth mentioning is the mattresses on the bunkbeds were really bad quality and you could feel all the springs and the bottom bed when you sat down. My littles slept in them and complained some but overall they were able to sleep. Any kid over 10 would be really uncomfortable. All that being said, I still gave it 4 stars because of the view and everything was functional. It was really fun to watch the eagles and other birds flying right by the deck.

Best VRBO Place We Have Stayed At

This is a very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped short term rental. I think this was the best VRBO place we have used. Plenty of room with 4 bedrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped. It is in a rural area, so there could be a drive to get some things. However, the basics are near. Fairfield Bay, a developed community, has restaurants and services. The town of Greer's Ferry is across the lake via bridge and it has more. This house was the perfect place to kick back. It is also central to some of our family so it worked well to get together with them. We enjoyed fishing on the lake with a friend. However, the most amazing thing about this house is the view. It is spectacular! You have a breath-taking overlook of the Middle Fork Little Red River just before it flows into the lake. We spent most of our time on the deck taking in the view and watching birds. We counted over 35 species in our short stay. Highly recommended!

Family getaway

Check-in was a breeze. House was just as described. Close to whatever you need. Wish the weather was nicer so we could've enjoyed the deck more but we still had wonderful time. Definitely worth the money.
