In this charming Charentaise bungalow, you can enjoy a relaxing holiday in an extremely peaceful location with wonderful views of the valley, the old village centre of Écuras and the hills beyond. The spacious, single-storey house impresses with its cosy atmosphere and traditional architecture, combined with modern amenities.
Lovingly designed, sunny terraces with a canopy and views of the beautiful pool invite you to relax. Located right on the border between the Haute Charente, the Dordogne and the Limousin-Périgord nature park, this is the ideal place to completely switch off and enjoy nature.
The gently rolling countryside with quiet roads is ideal for wonderful bike rides. Directly from the house you can reach the enchanting valley of the Renaudie, where several hiking routes have been laid out. Or hike along the GR4 route, which leads from the Atlantic coast to the Mediterranean and follows the River Tardoire. Golfers will get their money's worth not far away on a beautifully situated 18-hole course. Wonderful gourmet experiences and other activities such as fishing, stand-up paddling or canoeing await you nearby. Visit the Futuroscope theme park, La Palmyre Zoo or the beautiful west coast beaches. La Rochelle, with its rich history and culture, is also worth a day trip.
