Cozy get-away!
Cozy little place! Two restaurants within walking distance! We were there to explore so we were not at the house much. Details were accurate and communication was excellent!

Everything was as described. We felt safe in the location. The kitchen was fully equipped and the table allowed for 4 adults and 2 small kids on the end to eat comfortably. We liked that there were multiple seating options in the living room and plenty of room for our kids to play on the floor. We were able to fit 2 twin blow up mattresses for the kids in one of the rooms, and we ended up moving one to the other room with space to spare. Would recommend!

It could work for you
We stayed in winter, and one of us had sleeping problems because of the hot water heating system noise. If you are a light sleeper and it's winter, think about it.The other one of us had a problem with the number of items which were no-touch because they were the owner's private property. It just felt a little hostile, but if you have young children, it could really be problematic. You may want to bring flip-flops because the shower has a concrete floor. The drop-leaf table wouldn't open up. What there was with the leaves down was enough for the two of us to eat and play chess and cribbage, but if there are more than two of you, you'll have to eat in shifts. All that being said, the location is great if your plans take you to Eben, the place is clean, the dishes and cookware very nice. If you find salt and pepper shakers there, that was yours truly who bought and left them. Otherwise, bring everything for food, there's a little market two miles down the road.We needed snow removal twice - note, by the way, that there is no garage, and the dirt driveway is a little tight for turning - and the plow guy did show up.No place is perfect, and this could work for you if you can deal with the downsides.

U P visit to family
We were very happy with the property. A very nice location. Everything was neat and clean and was very welcoming when we arrived. While sitting in the living room area we saw 2 deer walk in front of the window and around the side of the house. There is plenty of room to sit and converse. I took a walk each morning and the area is so pretty. There is a Snack Bar Restaurant just around the corner within easy walking distance that has great breakfast and lunch. Would definitely use this property again.
