Fabulously clean and comfortable home! Absolutely everything you need. When I asked about cooking oil they said yes, and just to make sure, they delivered additional cooking oil the first evening of our stay, that's the kind of response we got! Perfect location for us as we were within 1 hour or less drive of 3 state parks and Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area! And the hot tub - so clean, water so clear, no chlorine smell, they clean it after each family leaves! Plus 4 hammocks under the trees by the stream! I highly recommend this home and we will return with daughter and doggies!

The property was wonderful, the house was rustic just as described. Exactly what we were looking for. Hosts were very nice, great communication. Our girls loved the hot tub. Last minute decision- was a great decision to spend our 31st anniversary w our 2 golden retrievers. They loved the creek and we loved the memories we made. Very relaxing and beautiful home. Will be going back!

We spent the month of August at “Rustic Cabin”. Can’t wait to return.This cabin is located on a beautiful piece of property, With creek and whimsical garden.The cabin is clean, roomy and yet cozy.The separate outdoors screened room is a lovely hangout.The kitchen is well stocked with the basics and then lots of upgrades like ice cream maker and instapot and nice stainless steel cookware. I won’t eat anything cooked in Teflon, which is what most cabins furnish.Hot tub under the stars perfect to end the day.Very convenient to everything including Bella Artisan Bakery, a fantastic Bakery.The hosts are extremely responsive and strive to make sure your visit is the best it can be.On a rating of 1 to 10, I would give it an eleven.

Our fur baby loved the cabin. Pets and Stuff groomer, located 6 minutes from the cabin is a wonderful groomer. When you are visiting.

Relaxing

Our family were looking for a place just to unwind and relax and I must say that Rustic Rest certainly provided that. We liked that it was a genuine log cabin, that was cool, loved that the kitchen was fully equipped with everything that we needed, Lori communicated with us throughout our trip, thank you, looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely wooded retreat

This property was perfect for our family and two dogs. It literally has everything you could need - from coffee pods, sugar and creamer to extra dog dishes, poop bags and an outside dog lead! We loved spending time by the firepit, exploring the creek, napping in the hammocks. Great place to do absolutely nothing! Keep an eye out for the water snake we found who lives creekside next to the house- harmless- just likes to sun himself peacefully. :)

Writing Retreat Dream Location

Absolutely gorgeous property, with one of the best yards any of us have ever seen. Close to town, hiking trails, and highways, but felt private and so peaceful. We were a group of writing friends using a long weekend as a mini retreat to get some work done, and had a wonderful stay. We hope to return as soon as life lets us!

Wonderful Getaway

My husband and I were looking for a place to spend a weekend getaway in the Poconos and are so happy to have found Rustic Rest. Owners were easy to communicate with. The cabin is out of a story book- lovely and thoughtfully decorated and well-appointed. The hot tub was sparkling clean and welcome on chilly evenings. The grounds are breathtaking. We can't wait to stay again!

Incredible property that you won’t want to leave

My group and I had a fantastic stay at this home. Everything was exactly as advertised. The owners went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, including with a gift of local chocolates. The hot tub was definitely the highlight - we spent every night in it! I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the East Stroudsburg area.

Well appointed - beautiful grounds

Overall we had a great stay. Lots of nice thoughtful touches like wood for the fireplaces, plenty of towels, well stocked with all the things we could need during our two night stay. Great location for access to hiking and the backyard is very scenic with the streams. We had four adults and four teen boys and the sleeping arrangements were tight. Would be ideal for three couples or a family of 6. Communication with the owners was fantastic. With the cooler weather we really enjoyed the hot tub and the three season porch with the wood burning fire.

Wonderful real cabin

Had a great time watching movies in the cabin, morning coffee outside by the stream, the kids loved the hot tub. Lots to do, hiking, fishing, exploring etc.

Exceeded expectations!

We had the most delightful stay! This place is absolutely adorable, with a charming and rustic log cabin décor that creates such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The beds were so comfortable! One of the best features was the water cooler that dispenses hot water—such a game changer! I also truly appreciated all the thoughtful pet amenities, which made traveling with my furry friend so much easier. The trails winding through the yard, with hidden lawn ornaments tucked away, truly made it feel like a magical world. the creeks winding through the property added such a serene and peaceful touch—it's the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. Every detail was carefully curated to ensure comfort Highly recommend!

Beautiful , cozy retreat

This property is breathtaking and stunning! So peaceful and relaxing! The water, the trees, and all of the fun decor to look at. All of the rooms are decorated with such a cozy feel. So much to do in the area too. We did lots of hiking/walking at the various parks and trails. Bushkill Falls, Marshalls Creek Falls and Camp William Penn park. Great place to stay anytime of the year!

Your Own Fairytale Cottage

From the moment you pull up, you can tell a great deal of thought was put into every detail of this property. It is charming, comfortable and practical. Words, nor even really photos can describe how magical the backyard is with the meandering stream and paths. We live somewhat locally but wanted a little extra space & change of scenery for a family get-together. We are all still talking about what a lovely time we had at Rustic Rest and we would love to come back again in the future. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts!

Absolutely amazing

We had the best time spending a weekend at the rustic rest! It was cozy and just as pictured. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was also very responsive through the entire process. Birthday weekend at Rustic Retreat
