The cottage is right in the middle of Dulverton and very handy for walking to the shops, pubs, restaurants etc. Despite this it was quiet location and perfect for a weekend getaway from it all. The cottage itself was spotless and cosy and we couldn't faulty it. Communication with the owner was timely and helpful with plenty of tips for places to go and things to do.On our weekend there was a slight problem with a leak from the bath upstairs causing stains / damage to the downstairs ceiling. This was tactfully managed by the owner and didn't detract from our lovely stay. The one thing that brought our overall rating down to four stars was that the rear courtyard garden was a little scruffy and could have been so much nicer with a little tlc. As it was just a weekend away we didn’t really use the courtyard much but had we been there for longer then I think the untidiness might have been an issue. Despite this we would thoroughly recommend the cottage as a great place to stay and explore North Devon / Somerset.
