Old facilities and building

The building and facilities is very old. The toilet shower is very bad in my room and the room is too tight with old wooden chairs and dirty wall tiles. This is worst compare to other hotels with same price in dubai. I can't recommend this facility for anyone because it is not worth the price.

One of the worst hotel I ever spend 2 nights, that is why I left that hotel and booked another hotel for the remaining stay in Dubai, that hotel was also booked threw travelavity. So I paid for two hotels. The second hotel was excellent, every thing about that hotel the best.

Nice place to stay.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The staff are very friendly & welcoming. Rooms are good & clean. The hotel needs to have a small Business Centre for the Guest.

Avoid!!

This is a horrible hotel. It looks like a nightmare inside, dark, spooky,and smelly. I suggest you dont book this place. Saving a little bit really will put you in misery staying here. So try to avoid!

Fortune Grand - Not so grand

Very simple apartment which is suffering badly from a lack of renovation (mould in bathroom, stale curtains and holes in sheets etc..) Be very careful when booking the one Bedroom apartment - it says 'Sleeps 4', but it doesn't and they will charge you for additional fold up beds. (I travelled with my wife and two children) Positives - the staff were lovely and helpful and the location is good.

The hotel was spacious and reasonably comfotable but is located in an uninspring, bland neighbourhood. The staff were pleasant enough but check in was very slow for no appatrent reason and breakfast was a bit chaotic and the food only just OK. We stayed in similar apartments last year where breakfast was better, the swimg pool area more attractive and a little closer restuarants shops etc.

Very accessible location

I checked in twice at this property visiting from the US. Overall the property is convenient to access from DXB, approx 50 dirham cab fare. Had to wait for 2PM check in, staff was cordial and pleasant, did not budge for jet lagged customers. The first time I stayed in room 201, next to the elevator and housekeeping storage. Bed was OK, clean sheets, bathroom is so-so needing upgrades, tattered towels. Room needless to say very noisy during housekeeping hours if you want to catch some sleep. Forgot my international plug in adapter in the wall socket by bed, remembered after check out - too late, did not get it back. The next visit stayed in Room 316, again by housekeeping storage and noisy as hell. Requested change in room, was denied request politely as hotel was overbooked. Since, room looked clean enough dealt with situation, but had problems with pull out shower. The hose was broken and water sprayed everywhere, no fix, no problem. Next day, woke up with a swollen eye noticed flies in room. This room is not for the weak, do not stay here if you want cleanliness.
