The studio cottage is filled with original art, plush furniture and modern fixtures and appliances. Filled with natural light, the large space includes separate kitchen/dining, living, and sleeping areas. The bathroom has a large walk in shower with natural stone details. Guests have a private deck/BBQ and the waterfall patio. Parking for two cars. The property was once a part of a 200 acre dairy farm. Now the barn remains but no cows...just chickens and goats.
The cottage is located just minutes from the towns of Eagle, Ludwig's Corner, Exton and Chester Springs. There are many coffee shops, restaurants, food stores and retail shopping just two miles from the cottage. We are centrally located in Chester County, Pa. with lots of to do nearby the cottage:
Marsh Creek State Park/less then 1 mile away. (hiking, fishing, daily/hourly sailboat, canoe, paddle board rentals).

Would definitely book again! Wow—what an amazing stay! The property was so quiet and absolutely stunning inside and out. Someone has an eye for style! Communication was fantastic every step of the way, and everything was exceptionally clean. We loved meeting the owner and their super-friendly pup—it was such a nice touch! The only thing that could have made it better is if we had planned to stay longer. We can’t wait to come back in the future!

The rock stairs to the cottage should be installed with the stair rail. I use my trekking poles to climb on the rock stairs. However, we enjoyed to see the backyard garden on the way up to the cottage. The cottage is cozy to cook the breakfast meals with the Host’s farm eggs!

Lovely historic retreat

Great stay. Cozy, comfortable accommodation. Close to PA turnpike so super convenient. Loved the fireplace inside, spacious deck space and charming waterfall built into the hillside. Highly recommend!!

The Cottage is a gem and it was perfect for a family weekend in Downingtown. Beautiful grounds, tasteful decor and very comfortable. Secluded without being out of the way. We will be back for sure.
