Really big with unusual furnishings. Located in a somewhat remote location. It was close to my brothers house that’s located on the TN river where we were having a family reunion. I was planning a party of 10 in my family for this location and would have handled but just had 8.Really interesting location with everything you need, even for large group.

Large Group

This is our second time to stay here. Our family consist of 14, aging 11 to 59. This is the perfect place for a large group. There is plenty of room to spread out, play games and visit. The kitchen is huge. There is a pool table, which is one of the main reasons we book here in the winter. The pool cues need to be replaced and I have spoken with the property manager about this matter. Highly recommend this propert.

Fantastic weekend

I’ve already submitted a long comment to the Evolve Group who manages this property. This large cabin was the perfect long weekend stay for our family. We as grandparents hosted our 3 girls, 11 grandchildren (25-6 year olds) and 2 great grands(2-3 year olds) the open plan kitchen, dining living area great for meals. Pool room with weights, was utilized by the men and older grands. The bedrooms were roomy and away from the busy areas, giving places to nap or just have some quiet time. The playground/fire out area were spacious and the water cooperated with mild temperatures and good breezes. We will definitely will return to this beautiful cabin. Oh, not to be forgotten the amazing decor of taxidermied wildlife was a wonderment to all, 74 years-2 years old!

Great location and place

We had a 5 generations come and stay at the location. The location was extremely clean and had so many beds and bedrooms and big open dining, kitchen, den area that was great for visiting with family. We did have issue with one of the Fridges not staying cool and had to put everything in the second fridge and the clothes dryer did not dry. The property manager was very responsive and passed this information on to the owner of the property. Overall it was a very positive experience.

Dover Cabin for Thanksgiving

Pros: The property was very nice and as described. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and move around freely. We spent a lot of time playing pool and cornhole. The heated concrete floors were a nice touch. The rooms were large as were the bathrooms. The decor was cool and made for great conversation. The kitchen was amazing with plenty of storage space. Con: The showers are RV showers and were a little tight if you are older or have a little size to you. This property is definitely a 5 star stay. We would absolutely stay there again.

Excellent cabin for multi family gathering

Since we and our 2 daughters and their families all live in different states, we have to be intentional in staying close-knit. Choosing Leatherwood Resort Cabin was an excellent decision. With grandchildren ranging from 18-1, there were activities for everyone. Lots of grassy areas to run around and the cabin was spacious and beds were very comfortable. We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. Sitting on the covered porch in the early morning with a cup of coffee and conversations with our kids was pure delight. The place is big enough for everyone to be comfortable. We met the owner and he volunteered to build a fire so we could make s’mores. Above and beyond hospitality. The property manager was very easy to correspond with before arrival and check in was so simple. Thank you for a great stay! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

An amazing space with an abundance of magical history!

This lodge is rich with history from the family who built it and anyone who has the chance to stay here will be lucky to have a few days to experience what obviously took a lifetime to put together!
