The host was easily reachable and responded in a timely manner. The house looks like it is fairly new and well kept. The back porch is awesome, the bedrooms are all good sized and kitchen, dining and living areas are all spacious. We went during the winter so didn't use the lake at all, but the area if very pretty in general, and we did some hikes to waterfalls. Overall we would go back to this house again and would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the Bankhead national forest area.

Very nice, quiet, good amenities and supplies The road in was very dirty, rough, and risky. Only other issue was the wi-fi and phone signal not strong enough - need a WiFi booster.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect — peaceful, scenic, and just as beautiful as shown in the photos. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. We loved spending time in the lake and appreciated the access to the lily pad - it truly made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Beautiful house and lake

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean, well-stocked and owners were attentive and pleasant. The dock is super nice with lots of toys! Our grandchildren had a blast swimming and riding the waves on the lily pad from the boat traffic...which was a little heavy given 4th of July holiday. We also rented a pontoon boat from the marina around the corner which was very convenient. Kitchen and cooking equipment is top-notch. We also went on several wonderful hikes in the Bankhead National Forrest, highly recommend Sougahoagdee Falls hike...it's worth every step! Also very nice to have a full-size grocery store so near in Double Springs. We were pleased with all aspects of this rental and definitely recommend.

Perfect Lake Getaway

We had the best time at this beautiful house (3 couples and two dogs), it was very spacious and perfect for the group. The kitchen and grill were great for dinners at home. Jennifer was so attentive and responsive to questions before and during the trip. Highlights were the beautiful dock set up and the back deck for dinner! We definitely will visit again!

Smith Lake Lovely Home

I can’t say enough nice things about our stay at this new beautiful home on Smith Lake. The owners are so easy to communicate with and wanted us to have all that we needed. The home is perfect and so well done with plenty of space. I’m worried about everyone finding out about this place and never getting the chance to rent it again! Just enjoyed it so much, and great for those that don’t have a boat and can rent from the marina nearby. It was cold and they had outside heaters for us to use and beautiful glass pebble fire pit. We used it all and couldn’t have been happier!
