"The property location is great and couldn't be any better. However, the place needs help and not worth the price of admission. There were too many issues that were basic amenities that have been overlooked or not cared for that are the basic essentials. Such as:Working ACs - 3 of the 5 had issues on day 1. They were provided attention, but we had leaks on our head while we were sleeping. Hot water - never had hot water in the pool house for showers, just luke warm at most. Sink was fine for for some reason.Bath soaps - not in all bathroomsBed linens, towers, couches, etc. were worn or stained. That's ok if it's your own, but not in a pricey rental property. Gross. Limited toilet paper - Some were stocked and other were not. No paper goods in kitchen to start with or garbage bags, plus.Most of the beach chairs were ripped and were not safe for adults to sit in.Many windows didn't work or were tapped closed or had to be closed from the outside.Promised blow up bed and there wasn't one available. Had to have my 13 year old so sleep between me and my wife. Not quite a relaxing vacation. Pull out couches in small cottage were hardly a bed. More like a cot and disgusting. Not worth paying for extra head counts. Would be better to have filtered water rather than trying to keep up with bottled water for 13 people all week. (I knew this ahead of time though). Pool was clean. Plenty of kitchenware, plates, etc. for large groups. Grounds were clean"

"Stayed at the Sungate property with another family of 4. This was our first visit to Eleuthera and the other family we traveled with visits annually. Our host, Marco, was very responsive before the trip when we reached out with questions and was also very responsive and helpful during our trip. He was a thoughtful host, dropping off fresh, local fruit for us to try and extra coffee. The property was clean and spacious. Our kids (teens and tweens) loved all of the game options (pool, skee-ball, air hockey) and the movie room. The house location was great - right on the beach and just a short drive to town. The house also had paddleboards, surfboards, kayaks, sand toys, masks, fins and more - offering so many ways to enjoy the beach and pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sungate!"

"Ocean was amazing! Cottage as described, would be nice to have a dishwasher & few more casserole type or mixing bowls & something to clean grill with but other than that totally amazing, relaxing & much solitude on the beach. Would highly recommend, just loved it!"
