Eco-friendly house in the French countryside

Want to spend a few days in the typical French countryside? The very large garden, patio and adjacent pond will make for a calm and quaint stay where you’ll be able to relax. There are plenty of outdoor activities in the area (hiking, kayaking, vélorail) as well as great local food. The vineyards of Sancerre and Pouilly-sur-Loire, as well as Guédelon are a 30min drive away. You will find all you need in Donzy (5min drive), including a supermarket with a drive through.

The chalet was built in 2008 with ecology in mind. Whenever possible, materials were locally sourced, such as the timber used to make the patio and the dining table which come from Donzy. The chalet is equipped with solar panels, a solar water heating system and a wood burner stove. You’re also encouraged to use the recycling bins as well as the compost bin. Depending on the season, the fruit trees, berry bushes and hens will give you plenty of fresh fruits and eggs. Note that there isn’t any cockerel so your sleep will stay undisturbed!
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a fenced private yard. Limited housekeeping is available.

Un séjour parfait.Parfaitement situé à quelques kilomètres de toutes les commodités : boulangerie, marché le samedi, restaurant, supermarché. Ne manquez pas le food truck "Le Couteau et la Grâce" le mardi. Vous nous en direz des nouvelles...Ce chalet très confortable, bien équipé et décoré avec goût nous a offert calme et sérénité. Notre chienne a particulièrement apprécié le jardin clos.Pour couronner le tout, un accueil très chaleureux de la part des propriétaires. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les petites attentions à notre arrivée ainsi que les conseils pour les visites possibles.Un grand merci pour cette semaine.

Super week-end à La Bretonnière et environ

Nous avons passé deux super nuits dans ce chalet! Tout était très propres et bien équipé! Émilie était très disponible et répondait très vite à nos questions. Nous avons eu la surprise de trouver des œufs des poules de nos hôtes en arrivant, une très jolie attention. Merci beaucoup pour le séjour!

Das Holz Haus ist sehr schön ausgebaut aber spartanisch eingerichtet. Ein schöner Holztisch aber nur Holzbanken zum daraufsitzen ohne Kissen!! Draußen auf der Holzterrasse gab es weder einen genügend großen Sonnenschutz noch Sitzkissen auf den eisernen Stühlen. Der Garten ist leider ungepflegt. Trotz dieser kleinen Mängel konnten wir die Ruhe genießen und die Gegend erkunden.

Idéal pour quelques jours de tranquillité et de détente. Hébergement impeccable, très bien équipé et chaleureux. Nombreuses balades à pied à travers champs et forêts à faire au départ du chalet (cartes IGN bien utiles à disposition) ou un peu plus touristique très proche en voiture. Encore merci aux hôtes pour les œufs frais et la truffe, nous nous sommes régalés. Peplum, notre husky, a adoré l'endroit ! Nous reviendrons :)

Le chalet est spacieux, très propre et extrêmement bien équipé : super rapport qualité-prix ! Les alentours sont calmes, on y entend que le chant des oiseaux. Les sentiers offrent de jolies balades à faire à travers champs et forêt. C'était parfait pour nos deux semaines de télétravail au calme ! Émilie et Florent sont des hôtes attentionnés. Schön!

Das kleine Ferienhaus befindet sich (wie beschrieben) kurz vor einem kleinen Dorf in einer kleinen Straße weit ab von Lärm. Durch das große Grundstück hat man sehr viel Platz und auch das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für ein paar erholsame Tage benötigt. Das Ferienhaus ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Ausflüge. Ob durch die kleinen Dörfchen schlendern, Burgen besuchen (sehr zu empfehlen: Guédelon, Chateau de St. Fargeau), im See baden oder in Patisserien leckere Teilchen verspeisen, für alle ist was dabei. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!
