This hotel is in a great location not far from Doncaster centre. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were great and the bathroom was a good size. It was very clean. The only issue we had was the noise from other guests arriving back to the hotel in early hours of the morning, with what can only be described as a mobile disco and very loud discussions.

Great stay

You generally know what you’re going to get with a chain hotel but the staff made this one stand out. I just wish the hospitality industry would give its guests something better than awful Nescafé sticks. We’re not in the 70s anymore. Otherwise all good.

Good for stop over night with dogs

We had a dog friendly one night staynad a family. Convenient for a north to south drive stop over, close to supermarket, petrol station and pub. Staff welcoming and helpful, particularly Simon.

The hotel is a grade 2 listed property with spacious rooms, friendly staff, great vibe in the pub plus good food. The sunday roast is sumptuous as are the cooked breakfasts. Its convenient to have a drink in the pub with great old worldly vibe and retire upstairs for a good night sleep. We recently spent Easter break there with 2 kids, loved it and hope to return when next in the area !
