Quiet location, surrounded by woods, despite being within easy reach of the motorway. Management and staff made us, including our dog, very welcome. Room was modern and very spacious. Really enjoyed our dinner in the hotel restaurant, as well as the breakfast buffet offered. Added bonus for EV owners: charger outside the hotel ensures you are fully charged when you continue your trip! What a great place to stay if you are travelling through or visiting the area!

Pleasingly nothing has changed! Great hotel!

Having completed another stay at the Wiesengrund this year my thoughts and opinions have not changed. Hartmut and Melanie continue to provide a warm welcome and continue to be some of the kindest hotellerie during these challenging times accommodating requests whenever they can to ensure a great stay. This alone maintains the Wiesengrund as my favourite family hotel in Germany. As before, for business the facilities are excellent and the help Hartmut and Melanie are able to provide in extended business stays is appreciated and welcome.
