Rae's Cabin — Log Cabin with Hot Tub & Covered Deck, Carrigart
Rae's Cabin is a log cabin for two on an elevated site above Mulroy Bay, four kilometres from Carrigart. A honey-pine vaulted ceiling, a king bed with a McNutt of Donegal tweed headboard, and corner doors that fold right back onto a covered deck — so the deck, and the private hot tub on it, work in any weather. The hot tub is heated and ready around the clock, the bay in front of you.
The kitchen is fully fitted, with a ceramic-egg BBQ outside. Shared with the property's other stays and kept for guests only: a hot-stone sauna just across the yard, open 24 hours, and a games room in the original forge.
Dogs are welcome.
Devlinmore is quiet and well placed: Rosapenna and St Patrick's golf are five minutes, blue-flag beaches: twenty, Fanad Lighthouse and Glenveagh an easy day out. Robes and towels provided. The cabin is named for Rae, Shane's mother, who grew up here.
