Great location, host was VERY responsive, enough provisions were provided to jump start our vacation. We enjoyed our stay very much. Check-in was a breeze however we did have to reach out to the host (booked 3rd party so the reservation was not sent in/ registering at the time we checked in, luckily the host was available (anytime we reached out IMO) and check-in was smooth sailing shortly after. My only complaint was foul orders in the building in general BUT the condo itself was very clean and comfortable.

Great Property!

We arrived later in the evening & went to security for check in. It went very smoothly and the employee at the security office was extremely helpful. This property is a 4th floor condo and was extremely clean and well maintained. Elevator wait was minimal. The kitchen was well equipped with a toaster, two types of coffee makers, blender & other items. However, there were no cooking supplies which kind of disappointed us. Most of the condos we stay at have things like salt and pepper, cooking oil, cooking spray, an assortment of spices; just shelf stable things that guests leave behind. I am guessing the cleaning crew throw everything out. But that wasn’t a big deal. We hadn’t planned on eating a lot in the condo. We took a short drive to Walmart and got everything you needed. The pools on the property are absolutely gorgeous! We did not have kids with us, but if you have children, this is the perfect day for you. There is a beach down the road. It would be quite a long walk, probably about half a mile. The beach was nice however it is between two private properties & there is just a small space for public access. We found a spot but in busier months it may be a little bit more difficult.We also drove to Henderson State Park beach which was very nice. We did not go to the resort restaurant, but did have drinks @ the pool bar. A huge tree blocked our balcony view but the view is just of the road so no big deal. Parking garage had plenty of space and I felt safe at all times.

Birthday week

Everything was smooth as far checking in and out. Just little bumps… no iron, window curtains wasn’t in place, master bedroom closet open or close, living room area sliding door curtain curtain wasn’t in place. Overall it was good. When I needing an iron they had gave me one. Kitchen cooking Utensils were needing to be replace and contacted property management and they came to my rescue. Thank you for your beautiful condo.

Great time!

Everything was quite an easy process! No issues. The listing and information was all accurate. I would definitely stay here and at this particular place again! The only real issues we had were not with this particular place or host, but the resort itself. The nighttime lights are not great on the property, and there were never enough carts for luggage or groceries. But again, nothing to do with this host but the overall property. But the pool was amazing, food at the bistro is tasty! Coffee hours aren’t great but the coffee was delicious! :)

Perfect

My husband and I took our 5 kids to the Palms of Destin for a week stay. We arrived early and were accommodated very well. The communication was easy and in a timely manner. The condo was just as the listing showed, and the resort was so much fun! Destin is a great area to take your family to. We'll definitely be back!

Convenient and comfortable

This property is located in a central area with quick access to everything you need for a relaxing stay at the beach. The resort pool is fantastic and the beach is a quick drive away. The amenities offered at the resort such as the restaurant and fitness center make it so that you don’t have to leave for anything if you choose not to! The property itself is beautiful and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here and I would stay again. We had a wonderful trip thanks to Just Beachy!

2023 Family Vacation

This is our 3rd trip to Destin and staying at The Palms of Destin, we absolutely Love the resort! My kids love the pool so much! Such an amazong Family Friendly resort! The room was very clean and fit all six of us perfectly!

Could have been better

Property was nice. Room was just okay. Many outlets didnt work. Wi-Fi didnt work the entire time regardelss of rests. There was a ticket open and we were told to reset it. Again. Hallway on our floor smelled like stagnate old shellfish.

Nice get away condo

The condo was nicely decorated, clean, and fully met our expectations. It’s located close to the beach and the community pool is spacious if you don’t want to play in the sand. The grounds are well kept. We definitely would return for another visit. There was only negative comment… The entire Okasola County needs to adopt a recycle program. I could not find a recycle bin anywhere! What a disappointment especially from a community that makes money from the environment.

The place was nice but...

We arrived and I saw how nice it was and said out loud "wow, I don't feel worried about my baby crawling around in here, it looks really clean!" I ended up eating my words when he found nicotine pouches in the floor of one of the bedrooms(we have never bought those in our lives), quickly got nicotine poisoning and I thought he was dying. He was barely responsive and limp as we waited for the ambulance and I have been traumatized ever since. He is okay now but I'm not really, just trusting God to heal and help me through it. There was plenty of communication between myself and the property manager and they were polite.. but no one ever offered to help pay for the hospital bill, ambulance, or waive the cleaning fee. So we were left feeling like they are not willing to own up to their mistakes, and that's not something I want from a vacation home.
