Experience the hustle and bustle of Downtown Des Moines in your own private retreat overlooking it all!

Just inside the front door is the kitchen area that is fully stocked with a Keurig, pods, bottled water, toaster, plates, bowls, silverware, drinking glasses, wine glasses, utensils, pots/pans and more. Tons of storage in the closet areas in the entry area as well. There is also seating at the kitchen bar for meals, entertaining, working, etc.

The living room has soaring ceilings with huge windows that showcase downtown Des Moines (there are privacy shades as well). The sofa is cozy with a large coffee table, comfy pillows, extra blankets as well as a side chair and smart TV that is ready to go for your streaming accounts or use some of the included options! The sofa is a hide-a-bed as well. A pack n' play and high chair are available upon request.

Just off the main living area, you'll first find the bathroom that has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, extra towels, a hair dryer and more. This unit is situated at the end of the building, which offers a huge wall of windows in the bedroom, also with privacy/room darkening shades. The large, spacious closet has plenty of storage as well as a drying rack, ironing board, iron, laundry supplies and more.

While I love all pets, certain dog breeds are restricted (Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Akita, Rottweiler, Chow, Doberman Pinscher & Mastiff).
The apartment is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a sofa bed, and a coffee maker.

A bit run down and did not have decent cookware

The property could use a bit of upgrades. the bed sunk in the middle. The kitchen did not have decent cookware. That said, I've never found anything nicer in Des Moines.

The unit was just as advertised. We enjoyed a quick stay here. The sky bridge and free parking is a plus. The apartment was in a great location to just walk where you need for a quick bite, drink, or supplies.

It was a clean and quiet apartment right downtown. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, bars and HyVee. There are also a couple nearby green spaces for dogs.

The apartment was nice enough and clean except the cleaning company must have forgotten to clean the bathroom sink before they left. Our main problem was the noise due to the location downtown near busy nightlife. The people having fun late at night was somewhat tolerable but the cars revving their engines and “cruising” the block late into the night was awful. Didn’t sleep either Friday or Saturday night despite having brought two sound machines with us. We recognize this is not the owner’s fault. Thought being on the 11th floor would make it not so bad, but we were wrong.
