Quiet solitude

Very quiet and relaxing cabin, incredible quietness, and relaxing mountain retreat. Kitchen had everything that we needed to do any of the cooking we needed to do. Will be coming back.

Amazing cabin. Just what we needed.

I booked this cabin with Art for a father/son fishing trip this last weekend. His accommodations were top-notch and very close to Deckers; with miles and miles of fishing spots. We really appreciated the attention to detail and especially the outdoor covered patio, where we were able to take in all the stars at night while enjoying a tasty beverage. Cheers, Art! You have an amazing cabin and location. Look forward to coming back out with my dad again. Cheers! P.S. Art's recommendation for a guide with Flies and Lies in Deckers would be the way to go, if one is new to fishing or just wants someone to help navigate the waters. We caught about 12 trout during our excursion.

Great fishing cabin!

This cabin is just perfect for a fishing trip in the Deckers area. Everything you need is provided and well labeled. The property is very clean and in a perfect location. Art provided fantastic communication with directions and even gave some tips on flies for our trip. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great Getaway

This was my second stay here at Art's property and he is honestly one of the best hosts I've stayed with. He provides a variety of necessities and "how to" information on the tech and appliances in the cabin. Above all, he is very responsive to any questions or concerns. But please advise! If you are going to visit and make use of what the Deckers area has to offer, do your part to keep it the place that it is. Clean up after yourself, be respectful of other's property, and above all be kind.

Great Cabin in a Beautiful Quiet Area

One of the most detailed listings you’ll find and Art provides a wealth of information not only on the cabin itself but also the area and some great fishing tips. Everything was labeled and easy to use and anything needed to enjoy some well deserved time off was available. I’m looking forward to future trips in the Deckers area and this will be the first place I’d check for availability.

Nice Property

This cabin is right by the river with lots of public access to great fishing. The cabin was clean, nicely stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, has nice outdoor living areas, and the TV and internet access were great additions to the cabin. The property owner was very responsive when I needed something during the stay, and there are instructions all throughout the cabin regarding anything we needed. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice place to stay on the South Platte River.

2023 Vacation in Deckers

Cabin was very very nice. Excellent location and very well stocked. We enjoyed the Outdoor gazebo, grilling and gas firepit. Was nice to have central air conditioning on the warmer days. Highly recommend this cabin. Can see part of the river from the cabin. Only a few hundred feet from world class fishing. Excellent views from cabin.

Birthday Weekend

This cabin was exactly what I was looking for! My friends and I wanted a cabin on the river to float and fish over the weekend. Two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other has bunk beds. Beautiful outdoor space, with a covered patio and a fire pit. Check-in was a breeze! Art was so nice and so helpful! I will definitely be staying again.

Amazing stay!

Working with Art was easy and efficient. The cabin is well taken care of, plenty of space for us, well stocked kitchen accessories, clean and comfortable with many ammenities. We enjoyed our weekend so close to the river, enjoyed a night a cooking outside and spending alot of time enjoying the sights and breeze that kicks up in the afternoon/evening under the covered patio. On Satuday, a mile up the road at Deckers corner, we grabbed a few items along with some river tubes and spent the day on the river floating down, it was so much fun. The best part was coming back to the cabin for dinner, a relaxing evening and comfortable beds. Highly recommend and will come back again, thanks for hosting us Art! You have a gem!
