I wanted to reach out regarding our stay because unfortunately, my family and I are very unhappy with the condition of the property. We hesitated to say anything last night because we noticed the cleaning lady lives on the property in a trailer, and we wanted to be respectful — this isn’t meant to come across harsh, but we do need to be honest about our experience.Here are the main concerns:•Late Cleaning: Check-in was at 3:00 PM, but the cleaning was not finished until almost 5:30 PM, delaying our ability to settle in.•Cleanliness Issues: The floors are very dirty with chunks of hair left behind, which isn’t what we expected.•Safety Hazards:•Construction debris and piles of wood left around the property, unsafe for both our children and our dog.•A broken key stuck in the back door prevents it from being secured.•An extension cord is running through the back door to another -------- unit. This stops us from closing the door properly and is also a fire and tripping hazard.•A hallway cord keeps falling, causing us to trip.•Vent covers are loose/falling off, creating another tripping hazard (my daughter nearly stepped into one).•The wooden path outside is uneven, and my husband has already tripped over the chain in the driveway twice.•Pests/Noise: We can hear what sounds like bugs or possibly mice in the walls.•Misleading Listing: Nowhere in the listing did it state we would be sharing electricity with another --------. Great Host

There was some confusion in the booking, and as a result, our original accommodations were unavailable during our stay. Nonetheless, the host was able to provide alternate accommodations, and was very quick to provide a resolution that was generous and very much appreciated. This is a wonderful host. 100% recommend!
