There was an extensive mini bar snacks etc - comfy beds and pillows. We requested to stay a 2nd night - the young man tried to get us to move rooms until I pointed out to him the configuration of both rooms were the same - I solved the problem. He did his job but wasn’t very friendly- no explanation upon arrival exactly where our room was or the usual spiel - wifi etc.

Average accommodation

We stayed two night's in Deniliquin at the Deniliquin Country Club Motor inn (room 20) and found it very average accommodation. There was mould in the shower, the toilet seat wasn't secured properly and the cistern kept flushing, it needs an adjustment to it. Also smoking is allowed directly outside your room so that means if you are next to a smoker you will not be able to have your window or door open at any time. The motel is close to town but it does have an excellent Chinese restaurant on the club premises.

We needed to do some laundry and the lady offered to dry our clothes in her personal dryer, as she said the one for the motel took several hours to dry clothes. Above and beyond. Staff was very nice. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Property wasnt what I expected via advertising. Nothing open, no restaurant, bar and you could only get breakfast to your room. Room was no smoking but on either side of room were tables where other guests could sit and smoke. We had no such table where we could sit and have coffee but when you walked out your door all you got was smoke wafting over you. Room clean but whole complex was tired looking, beds hard plus room upstairs not opening onto bowling green as we expected. Plenty of tea, coffee etc. but had to request clean towels for third night because they never replaced even though they were left on floor. Over rated for the price.
