I had originally booked one night and then another two nights at this hotel within a two-day period. But I canceled the second booking after seeing the poor condition of the hotel. The building is old, there’s no air conditioning, and it smelled musty. My family didn’t feel comfortable staying there, so I quickly asked the staff to cancel the remaining two nights. The hotel staff was okay with the cancellation, but Orbitz didn’t process it, and I ended up losing the deposit money. Still, there was no way I could stay there for two more nights, so I booked another place instead.

The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Enjoyed having the sink outside of the bathroom so we could brush our teeth while someone was taking a shower. I wish there had been a hiking trail right from the hotel rather than having to drive to one, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Would definitely stay there again!

Left a day earlier then planned forfeiting a paid nights stay. Off season Continental breakfast is a bowl of odds and ends in the fridge. Wish we’d of been warned as the only place to buy food is grocery store and no stove in room so difficult for dinner and breakfast. All else is closed during off season. We expected more than oatmeal at front desk. Appeared very clean and comfortable. Beds springy and cover had offensive odor. So we left early. Very nice staff.

Out in the middle of nowhere - so you only have to drive like 3 minutes away to look for the northern lights. The staff is very nice. Very private. A great place to reconnect!

Aurora Denali Lodge was one of my favorite places I stayed as I traveled all over Alaska! It was very clean, the staff was awesome, and the area was stunning around it! I would definitely recommend and stay again!

Wonderful Space for a Fair Price!

Overall a great experience. The room was comfortable and the breakfast bowls were great for taking on the drive to Denali so we could hike as much as possible. The beds were comfy and everything was clean and well maintained. The only downside was the deck is VERY slick when frosted and I fell hard departing on the final morning of our stay. A sign or warning its that slick would be helpful.

This property had everything for a winter holiday. Snowshoes, snow tubing and s’mores! Our room overlooked the elusive Denali Mountain which we were blessed to see on both days of our visit. Waking up to Denali was one of the most beautiful mornings we ever experienced.
