Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This was a perfect home for a yearly weekend mountain trip. This year was a little different due to damage from the hurricane in some area of western NC but this house was a perfect location. Usually we spend time on the parkway but this house was located not so far from Boone, so we were able to spend the day there. The area was very quiet & the porch is fantastic! We didn’t use the grill but we did enjoy making s'mores with the Solo stove.The bed in the main bedroom was superb. Comfortable mattress & nice pillows…always nice to have an awesome place to sleep when you’re away from home. My girls (18 & 17) loved the loft area & they were very comfortable sleeping up there. I would totally recommend staying at the Wildcat Cabin for the weekend or even the week. We were completely satisfied!

Great Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at this super cute cabin tucked away in the beautiful NC mountains! Our girls loved the little pond in the front yard! Alyssa was very responsive to any questions we had. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Great spot to rest between hikes!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The cabin has just what a couple needs to rest up and relax between hikes in the surrounding area. We enjoyed the functional kitchen, and wetting a few lines in the small pond! Thanks for the lovely accomodations!

Relaxing stay

I was in town for a celebration at ASU. The checkin was easy. Owner was quick to answer questions and great to deal with. Cleaning had not left any trash bags, messaged owner and they brought out trash bags. I definitely would stay again! My only suggestion would be pack paper towels and toilet papwee. There was not much provided.

Cozy little home!

This cozy cabin was just what we needed for our family and dog while we were getting my son ready for college. We spent every day out exploring the area, and it was great to come back and relax on the swing porch and sleep in the comfy beds.

Long summer weekend

The cabin was perfect for the two of us! We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch with coffee or a late day beverage. Place was clean and very well appointed. We would definitely come back!

Highly Recommended Wildcat Cabin

This was an awesome getaway stay. The check-in process was simple, beautiful property, extremely clean and tidy cabin. Beautifully decorated with lots of interesting pieces. The kitchen was perfect for a getaway, other than the fact that it did not have a freezer, but that’s expected with a small refrigerator. The cabin provided all dishes and needed cooking essentials. The bedroom and bathroom was exactly as described and perfect for what we needed. The loft had plenty of room and stayed plenty cool with the use of the fan upstairs. The porch and outdoor area was so quiet and peaceful, sitting in the rockers or on the swing with deer across the road and the waterwheel in the pond. Overall highly recommended staying at the Wildcat Cabin. It is the perfect distance from Boone and surrounding areas without being right in the middle of everything. A quiet getaway place that we plan on returning to!

Perfect Rustic Getaway!

We loved the cabin with all its rustic details! It reminded me of my grandparents' mountain cabin back in the 1950s. Its location is far enough away from the crowds of Boone, but close enough to get there easily.
