Apartment 6 - Classy 1 bedroom ground luxury floor apartment in Darlington

Classy and unique our only ground floor apartment is generously sized and offers beautiful hand painted furniture, large squashy sofa and well equipped kitchen with modern, spotlessly clean bathroom.

The apartment is set just 200 yards from Darlington Train Station and only 100m from the theatre and town centre which gives access to numerous bars, restaurants and a new cinema complex.

I have tried to anticipate travellers needs and ensured the apartment offers a wealth of features to make sure your stay is as enjoyable and stress free as possible

The oak and glass contemporary doors lead into the open plan living, dining kitchen - all newly installed and designed. The kitchen area has a contemporary cream finish with wood effect worktops and as well as offering bags of storage with all manner of cookware, bake ware and utensils there is a built in oven and hob, washer dryer , fridge freezer and dishwasher.

The spacious living area has a huge 4 seater squashy sofa to let you truly lounge and relax as well as a hand painted dining set that can seat up to 4 and can also be used as a desk. There is a large TV, free fast wifi and radio with USB plugs for your convenience.

The bedroom has a large king size sleigh bed with a choice of feather or hollowfibre duvet and pillows. We provide all bed linen and bathrobes. There is also a large built in wardrobe with full length mirror.

The bathroom is modern and has a full length bath with shower over and white suite. There is shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided along with essentials such as soap and toilet roll. Towels are provided including large fluffy bath sheets. Further towels can be provided upon request

Cleaning is provided with your agreement for stays of over 5 days and bedding and towels etc are changed at least weekly during longer stays.

I have four other apartments in my purpose built building and these can be combined for larger groups to sleep up to 16

Lucky Find!

I was quite pleased with everything. I felt the bed was a little too firm for me. A topper for older renters like me would fix that problem for old bones. Also a lock on handle for the shower also would be great for older renters. I have issues with balance as older people do. All in all, I would be back and would recommend it to anyone staying around Darllington.... Jo Ann
