The home was a nice upgraded property. Well maintained. The linens were clean and smelled fresh. Photos of the property were as expected. The neighbors were very noisy. Playing loud music and shooting fireworks. There were also dead gnats in the window seals. The kitchen needs a can opener and dish towels. Overall a cozy stay. The communication and owner were great answering all the questions and allowing our doodle to stay.

The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and always quick to respond. The property was spotless and beautifully decorated when we arrived. The only thing that could be improved is that some of the furniture, like the dining room tables and chairs, are quite worn and could use a good repair or replacement. We’ve already mentioned this to the host, and we’re hoping they’ll address it for future guests. The only other thing that was a bit of a letdown was the couches in the living room. They looked great, but they weren’t very comfortable for long periods, like watching a movie. Aside from those minor issues, I would have given it a perfect 5 stars.

This listing is deceiving. It does not show you the neighborhood or the surroundings. There are bars on windows, wire fences and gates at driveways, cars parked on lawns, stray cats and dogs roaming, junk on yards. But the worst of it was a feeling of being watched and not safe. So much so, that after bringing our luggage in, noting the glass in the front door and windows at ground level, we decided to pack up and leave before dark. Researching this specific neighborhood, it has a high crime rate, including violent crimes, robbery, assaults and the like. Suggesting if you are planning to move to this neighborhood, make sure to visit first at all times of day to see for yourself. The house itself was not in good condition. It looked like there had been a party at some point with holes in the walls that had been patched and painted, yet the paint did not match the exisiting color. There was sour smell as you walked in, and fruit flies. Going up the stairs, there was a broken step that could easily have been cause for a nasty fall. The rooms upstairs were nice and appeared clean. There were no hangers whatsoever in the house, not in any of the closets or storage closet. We contacted the host with our safety concerns, and she was dismissive. We contacted VRBO who also contacted the host. Thankfully, VRBO was able to reimburse us for the week long stay we had booked. We left the neighborhood before dark, and did not spend 1 night in this place. I would NOT recommend this home.

Most of the dining table chairs were cheap & many of them broke. We almost fell a couple of times. Needed hangers in the closets. Other than that it was good.

This is a really beautiful house! Easy to get to and the neighborhood is an established, comfortable area. All the amenities provided helped for me to cook an entire Thanksgiving feast for three!

Sufficient

I felt that this home was sufficient for our purpose, but I will be fair in adding that every other Virbo I have experienced went above and beyond which set a very high bar. Although this home did not meet that bar, it did meet our "needs." Pros: The home was very spacious. Each rm had a tv and closet. The bathrooms were nice and very clean. The yard was a good size for my moms dog. Plenty of parking. The keyless entry and check in process was a quick and pleasantly painless. The app used for the keycode and instructions were clear and helpful. Communication was provided, but only in emails. That works out for most guests, but not ideal for me. I still consider that a pro as the communication was still there. It seems that this home is a mere investment property, so personal Communication from the home owner was not made. I understand that this varies from each Virbo. That being said, this is the first time that we did not receive communication by text from the owner/ virbo host. It was odd, but not a "con." The beds and towels were very clean. Pillows were sufficient. Cons: Not one of us, all 5 of us, enjoyed the beds. That is a huge thing for me in choosing a Virbo. I want to feel comfortable on my vacation, not eager to get home so my back stops hurting. I realize this is personal preference, but I would rather have less space and better beds. I was discouraged at the lack of helpful amenities such as seasonings, serving utensils, and better pots and pans.

Beautiful house

Spacious house, is well supplied with toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap and shampoo, conditioner dispensers in showers. If you cook big you may want to bring a large pot or crockpot, otherwise everything else is sufficient. Centrally located, every place we went was within a 30 min or less drive, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, grapevine, etc. If you ice skate, go to Farmer’s Branch Children’s health one. Neighborhood was not a gated community but it was quiet and felt safe. Make sure you get codes and passwords upon arrival for the televisions because it’s strictly streaming, no cable. The manager is two thumbs up, very quick with a response, even on Christmas Day and late in the evening. Answered every question and took care of every need. Give em a raise! I’m not kidding, this person was incredibly helpful. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.

Great house, not neighborhood

House and amenities were great. No issues other than people riding motorcycles up and down the street at 2 o’clock in the morning. Saturday night somebody came and banged on the door at 3 AM and then ran off.

Quaint and cozy

The rental was very quaint and cozy. It had immense space for our entire family. We were able to locate everything needed. It was 10 to 15 mins from all downtown activities. Would def recommend.
