In Hoi An, we chose a casual, local-style hotel instead of a resort, and it was absolutely the right choice.
We stayed in the building farthest from the street, and it was wonderfully quiet despite being close to town.
The property isn’t new, but it’s cozy and full of character. Outside our window was a courtyard with trees loaded with fruit and a small pool, and just outside the door was a charming old-town street. Wherever you looked, you could enjoy the cute, unmistakable Hoi An vibe.
The shower was comfortable with good water pressure and a stable temperature. Amenities are fairly basic, though, so it’s a good idea to bring your own or pick some up locally.
Even though the hotel was quite busy during our stay, the staff were always friendly, cheerful, and attentive.
With its convenient access to the Old Town, this hotel offers outstanding value for money.
