The house is extremely roomy and well decorated. Enjoyed having a view. Would love to come back during the warm weather and take advantage of the lake. Great for family get together.

Wonderful lake house. Great location. Easy to get to the boat dock / few easy steps down to the dock. Had everything we needed for a family gathering. Once a year our grown kids and grandkids try to get together. This was a wonderful house to do that. Lots of space, seating, two large tables, large TV for the ball games and sleeping/ bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy. Hope to be back.

The best lakeside getaway!

This is the second year our family has stayed at Makin’ Memories. We always have a blast. The house works perfectly for our family. We love that it is on the water & easy access to the dock. We rented a pontoon boat from Cappy’s which was close by & we were able to park it right at the house. It also had a fenced yard for our pup. The hosts are amazing & always help out when needed. The house is always clean & ready for us on our arrival day. I can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!

The house was very nice and was very well-equipped and comfortable. It was perfect for our annual family 3-generation lake trip. We spent a lot of time hanging out at the dock and in the lake and also enjoyed the hot tub and playing games.

Perfect location, great hosts

The property was perfectly located in a quiet cove near a no wake zone. It was quiet and serene, but close to the marina and the local pool (at Smith Lake Park). The house had plenty of room and a great space upstairs for kids to hang out.

We have stayed on LS lake 4 times previously and this was our favorite location. We enjoyed the easy access to I-65 and loved the beautiful view and the quiet segment of the lake. Some of our group enjoyed using the pool and beach and the nearby park. The dock was great for fishing and dock swimming.

Excellent for holiday dinner

Clean, well provisioned property for a family holiday dinner. Plenty of space for adult children and grandchildren to visit and have Thanksgiving dinner. Plenty of extras for little things that you forget such as: spices, body soap, garbage bags etc. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stress free visit. We will definitely visit again.

Total Blast!

Lovely home and grounds! Every amenity we needed was there and in good working order. The hot tub was a huge hit and all the kids caught at least one catfish off the dock! Family get-together...huge success! We will stay here again if the stars align once again.

Celebrating Grandma’s birthday!

Can’t say enough good things about this property. Location was great, house layout was great & was well stocked with everything we needed, it was nice to be able to use the boat dock to fish & tie off the boat, & fenced in yard was perfect for the tag-along family pet. 😊. Hope to visit again soon!

100% Recommend!

Our stay was perfect. This house was perfect for our party of 8 to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday. Beautiful lake front view. Easy access down to the water. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the views. Fenced in yard for my pup. Grill, full kitchen. Everything was perfect. The hosts were so helpful & friendly. I will definitely be staying here again.

Mature ladies long weekend

The inside of the house was immaculate and comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen, plenty of linens, paper towels and tissue, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry and dishwasher pods. We packed more than we needed to. This is one of the best equipped properties we have stayed in. The view from the deck was amazing. A beautiful heron entertained us from the dock for most of our stay. We hope to return in the fall. Thank you for sharing this beautiful lake home.

Nice get-away

Our friends and us were impressed with the vacation house I selected. It was much larger than I was expecting. We were a little disappointed that the grill didn't work well, had to cook hot dogs on the stove. Chlorine levels in the hot tub were way too high causing me to have a severe allergic reaction.Tub really needs to me emptied and scrubbed out.

Fun lake vacay!

The home is spacious and comfortable! We had three generations… 6 adults and 5 kids. We all had our private space as well as lots of space for cousin fun. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed. We enjoyed the hot tub every day, and had a fire the last night before we had to leave. The dock was perfect for fishing, and we went boating, tubing, and knee boarding each day. We have a pickle-ball enthusiast, so the garage became our pickle ball court. The upstairs den was great for movies for the kids. We walked to the park each day and the preschooler enjoyed the playground. The others had a family football game on the grassy fields. Just what we needed!! The house was perfect!!

Awesome Getaway!

The home is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed the porch sitting and the lake view. Very quiet, peaceful, and serene! The ducks and cranes were in full season - they out in quite a show!!
