Set within our peaceful private 6-acre estate near Durham, the two properties sit just steps apart, giving your group the flexibility of separate spaces while still staying together.

The Barn is a beautifully converted stone farmhouse with exposed oak beams, wood floors and stylish interiors.
It features 3 comfortable en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living and dining areas, making it ideal for groups who value both comfort and privacy.
Large windows provide beautiful countryside views, while the generous communal spaces give everyone plenty of room to eat, relax and spend time together.

🌲 The Log Cabin – Sleeps 6
Our handcrafted Finnish Log Cabin adds something completely different, with warm timber interiors, underfloor heating and a fantastic open-plan entertainment space.
Enjoy the pool table, retro arcade machine, bar area and huge retractable 83-inch screen, or relax in the conservatory overlooking the countryside.
The Log Cabin also has its own kitchenette and a covered outdoor BBQ, perfect for year-round use.

The two king-size beds are in open, elevated sleeping lofts accessed by ladders, with restricted headroom due to the pitched roof. These quirky loft spaces are a fun and distinctive feature that many guests love, but may not suit guests with limited mobility, young children or those who prefer conventional bedrooms.

🔥 Wood-Fired Hot Tub Information
We provide the wood, kindling, paper and firelighters — simply fill the tub, light the fire and allow it to heat.
Each hot tub is fitted with a hot-water tap, allowing you to fill it fresh at a time that suits you.

🔇 Quiet Hours
As there may be other guests staying elsewhere on the estate, we have strict quiet hours from 10pm–8am. Noise must be kept to a minimum during these hours, particularly when using the hot tubs and outdoor areas.
If these quiet hours do not suit your plans, please do not book this property.
