Our annual family retreat to Crested Butte has been to this property the past two years. The place is immaculate, fully loaded, and the location is perfect (not in the noise of the resort or the town).

Perfect home for our vacation

This home was perfect for our family of 8 adults. Very comfortable with lots and lots of space. We especially loved the large family room, fireplace, puzzle table, and large dining table. It was perfect. We’ll be back.

Pictures DO NOT do it justice!

After seeing the photos I tbought the place would be good for our first Christmas with my granddaughter. The drive for us was 13 hours. We arrived around 8pm and as we walked in the door we knew this was going to be a fairytale Christmas getaway. The 3 story home had everthing, even a Christmas tree with lights. The house was magnificent with lots of room for my husband, 3 grown sons and 1 spouse, my granddaughter and myself. The upstairs master has a fireplace and balcony. The master bath was huge wit h an amazing jacuzzi and stand alone shower. 3 bathrooms total, a well stocked kitchen with everything you could need. A gameroom downstairs that had a 75 inch tv, a tv in every bedroom, lots of towels, shampoo, blow dryer, coffee, sleds, air pump for our tubes, and did i mention the owner made sure a Christmas tree was up with lights. Needless to say we had the best Christmas ever! I think its important to say this home was in a very affluent neighborhood that resembled what you would see in a snowglobe. You will be glad you chose this multi million dollar home!The Bruce Family

Fall Family Wedding

This was the perfect and most comfortable VRBO I’ve stayed in. So close to everything. Kitchen had everything you need. I can’t recommend it enough. The only thing I wish I had paid attention to was that several beds/futons were in open loft area not a separate bedroom.

Perfect Location, Great House

We had 2 families stay very comfortably in the house. The kids (5 kids ranging from 7-12) loved the game room & we all loved how close the house was to such beautiful hiking & mountain biking trails & lakes. We also loved how quiet the neighborhood was. Perfect getaway. The house was also really well stocked with all of the essentials (plenty of to, paper towels, dish & laundry soap) and pantry items. We were very happy with this home & would 100% stay here again!

Great house and fabulous location

The house was wonderful, comfortable and lots of room. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved sitting on the balconies and watching all the deer. Keeping the windows open at night keep the place nice and cool. Location was great. Close to town and the mountain. Nice walk to long lake from the damn. Other hike to the lake is straight up. Had a great time. Only issue was there was a hidden host fee of $165.00 that no one is taking responsibility for and reimbursing if me.

Great stay

Had an awesome stay with some friends. House is spacious and well-kept. Loved the game room. The only downside is there is no bus stop into town or the mountain nearby so you have to drive. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful Home and Wonderful Stay

Our group of 10 had a great stay. The 3 full bathrooms were wonderful with plenty of hot water. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked and we cooked breakfast and dinner there each night. The property management team was super responsive and the house was impeccably clean. Highly recommend.

Fabulous for a group ski trip!

I'm so glad I found this property. We had a group of adults on a ski trip and the house was great - plenty of space for all of us, super easy access to the resort, plenty of games and activities around the house, and a beautiful setting. Checking in/out was a breeze and the host/management company provided all of the information we needed, except for a quick question about plows that they answered in a timely fashion. Humans + dogs alike had a wonderful week and we would love to come back!

Great place!

This was a wonderful property for our long ski weekend! It was clean and well appointed. Only things we would recommend are full size wine glasses (they were more like 4 oz stemmed shot glasses!), leveling the pool table and adjusting a couple of the bedroom doors that would not latch closed. Other than that, it was great and we would rent again!

Wow!

My wife and I have stayed in Crested Butte vacation rentals 17 times, and Barb's beautiful home is the best we've encountered--and that's saying a lot. This log masterpiece has spacious and well proportioned rooms with wonderful views both up and down valley, with Gothic Mountain and Mt. Baldy to the north and Mt. Crested Butte to the south. All rooms are well- and comfortably furnished, and the kitchen is large and well-stocked. We enjoyed lunches on the deck, surrounded by amazing fall colors, and slept comfortably in the high master bed in the very spacious master suite. Barb is a gracious and thoughtful owner who generously shared her time throughout our week-long visit. We would love to return next year.

No complaints. We loved it!

Beautiful home, wonderful views. Very comfortable for multiple families, a toddler, and 2 dogs. We appreciated the opportunity to be close to town and close to the mountain but in a quieter area. Great proximity to mountain biking and hiking trails too. This place had everything we could’ve needed and more from a fully stocked kitchen, to movies and games, to toys and books for our daughter. No complaints, would love to visit again.
