Anniversary Stay

Nice hard working owners. Nice and quiet. Enough property to let my bird dog run supervised. A nice laundry/mud room for the dog to stay in at night.

Great place to enjoy Creede and surrounding area

If you are looking for a great location to find some jeep trails, do some hiking and horseback riding, a place close enough to enjoy Creede and still feel like you are alone, this is the place. Thanks to the lovely hosts. Would recommend a solar light on the drive for nights when there is no moon…it was a dark drive home and we passed the drive several times.

Home away from home

We couldn't have asked for a better stay. From the communication with the property mgmt company, to the hospitality of the homeowners, it was the best trip to Creede we have ever had. The property is well taken care of and has everything you could possibly want or need. The homeowners went out of their way to make out trip wonderful. And Jaz, the dog living on the property, talk about a sweetheart. You won't find a better place in Creede to rent than here!! We have found our place.

It was so beautiful! The property grounds are unbeatable. The only thing I wish happened was a little communication from the owners. They looked like a very nice family. I totally understand that they'd want to leave the guests alone; and part of me loved that they gave us so much space; but I'm a very social type and would have loved a little walk-up hello from them when we first pulled in.

Nice location

Property is in a great central location between south fork and lake city. If you draw unit 76, you can’t find a better location. Owners were very friendly, country people. Will be back next year for sure!

Super cute house with everything you need!

When we arrived the super nice property owner was outside to greet us and had everything ready for our stay, including a fire going in the woodstove and the hot tub warming up. This house had plenty of room and everything we needed and more! I would definitely recommend this house to anyone staying in the Creede area!

Quiet and cozy family retreat

This cozy cabin was perfect for our family of seven. Three girls in one room, two boys in another, and mom and dad got a room too. The kitchen was fully equipped, even a crock pot. We cooked dinners each night and enjoyed the very warm fire every evening after snowshoeing and sledding in the national forest and ice skating downtown. We drove up to Wolf Creek one day for skiing - (I recommend renting skis in South Fork). The hot tub was awesome! We enjoyed it each night. Such a treat! There was lots of wildlife around too. During our drives from the cabin we saw elk, bighorn sheep, coyotes and deer. The space is perfect for board games, puzzles, and socializing. Its the perfect place for a quiet mountain escape. This is one of my favorite VRBO rentals. It's the first one we've rented where the owner lives on the premises. I was not sure what that would be like. We felt the cabin was very private and the owners gave us great tips on using the stove, then let us enjoy the place on our own. They were perfect hosts.

Great Creekside Property

Beautiful property with a creek running through the backyard of the cabin. Easy access to local hiking, fishing, biking, and town. The owners and their kids are fantastic and very kind. We loved staying here and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a place in Creede.

Family Vacation

Property is in a great location, just minutes from town. House was clean, and had everything we needed. We loved the creek just off the back porch. Owners are very friendly and helped us several times throughout our trip, even when they did not have to. I would recommend this property to a family of 4-5.

Home base for fishing trip

We stayed five nights and spent our days out fishing the lakes west of Creede. The house has a well equipped, modern kitchen and comfortable living room to relax in. The location is super easy to access of the highway and having Miners Creek running right behind the house created nice atmosphere. A warm fire was burning in the wood stove on our arrival but we didn’t need it or the heating system during our stay. The shower head did not have good pressure, surprising because the tub water pressure was great?? The family living in the main house on the property were very friendly and welcoming, including their dog Jazie. Quiet at night and very peaceful. Felt comfortable not locking the doors.
