This cozy cabin was perfect for our family of seven. Three girls in one room, two boys in another, and mom and dad got a room too. The kitchen was fully equipped, even a crock pot. We cooked dinners each night and enjoyed the very warm fire every evening after snowshoeing and sledding in the national forest and ice skating downtown. We drove up to Wolf Creek one day for skiing - (I recommend renting skis in South Fork).
The hot tub was awesome! We enjoyed it each night. Such a treat!
There was lots of wildlife around too. During our drives from the cabin we saw elk, bighorn sheep, coyotes and deer.
The space is perfect for board games, puzzles, and socializing. Its the perfect place for a quiet mountain escape. This is one of my favorite VRBO rentals. It's the first one we've rented where the owner lives on the premises. I was not sure what that would be like. We felt the cabin was very private and the owners gave us great tips on using the stove, then let us enjoy the place on our own. They were perfect hosts.
