Enjoyable stay.

The property was very spacious and impressive and we enjoyed our stay. The garden and pool area has a calm ambience and is spacious with multiple separate areas providing space for different activities. We enjoyed the pool and terrace. The location is in a quiet part of the town and 20 to 30 minutes walk to centre of a fairly big town but lots of parking in town if you choose to drive. The many valley of D’ordogne attractions near Sarlat are an hour to hour and a half drive away, with Brantôme and Chateau de HAUTEFORT within 40 minutes drive and both really worth a visit.

Vacances gâchées, un cauchemar à éviter

Dès les jours précédant notre arrivée, le propriétaire a commencé à nous faire comprendre que le prix indiqué par Abritel ne lui convenait pas, laissant entendre qu’il trouvait la réservation “pas assez rentable”. De notre côté, nous avions réservé normalement via Abritel, en toute confiance.Sentant le malaise, j’ai pris les devants : je lui ai demandé plusieurs fois confirmation, et j’ai également contacté Abritel pour m’assurer que tout était en ordre. À chaque fois, on m’a confirmé que la réservation tenait.Et pourtant... le jour J, après une journée entière de route en pleine canicule, avec ma compagne enceinte et notre chien à l’arrière, nous recevons un message à 4h de l’arrivée : le logement n’est finalement “plus disponible”. On nous propose un autre endroit… qui n’accepte pas les chiens, contrairement à la réservation de départ. Inutile de préciser que nos vacances ont littéralement été gâchées.Aucun geste, aucune anticipation, aucun suivi efficace d’Abritel malgré ma réclamation.Une expérience profondément décevante, à tous les niveaux. Et un stress que personne ne devrait vivre en partant en vacances.
