Fun property with so much to do. We kayaked, played corn hole & air hockey. We used the deck to read, play cards and grill out and have dinner. The kitchen is well equipped. I imagine this would be a great place to come with active children or teenagers. Great space. Thanks for a memorable weekend.

This rental has everything you could hope for and more. Beautiful scenic yard, house was fully stocked with extra blankets and pillow, kitchen that had everything you could possibly need or want, and first and foremost it was wonderfully clean. We came into town to visit with family and the weather was not ideal one of the days and the garage space provided us with a great atmosphere to hang out and play euchre. Last, but not least, the Kristy was incredibly responsive, helpful, and kind.We would definitely book again!

The house was lovely, very peaceful setting. My husband caught a fish in the small pond outback. It is very rural with winding roads all around. There is a small gift shop within walking distance, serves breakfast, was an idyllic setting, very nice. It was a very hot week, the portable and room air conditioners worked well. Kristy was very responsive. If you are looking for a remote home in a country setting this is the place.

Great Stay!
The house was perfect for our short visit to Washington County. The Barn is a great spot for kids (and adults) and the porch was perfect to sit on during a summer evening. Kristi went out of her way when our son left his wallet and we made arrangements to get it picked up.

The property is very nice, the house clean and well stocked and the owners were responsive. However, there was a terrible bug issue at night. The first night there thousands, yes, thousands of bugs, got in the house. The owner advised that I vacuum them up. I spent at least 2 hours vacuuming the ceiling, cabinets and walls, as bugs dived at my face, up my nose, in my hair, biting at me, to no avail. I finally went to bed and in the morning, most had died and were covering every surface. The next day, the owner came and sprayed the outside of the house and left a bug zapper but two days later the spray started to wear off and the bugs, not nearly as bad as first night, were making their way back. They did leave us a big bug spray bottle for such an occurrence. Aside from the bugs, there was a live wire fence around the pond that is used to keep the geese out. They forgot to turn it off and my puppy got electrocuted when she was sniffing around when we first arrived. Just the very tip of her nose touched something in a corner near the pond because I had her on a leash, but she got zapped good. It must have been painful because she yelped for about 30 seconds with the most confused look on her face. It's unfortunate because everything else was lovely.
