FABULOUS condo with ocean view

My family enjoyed a wonderful stay here! I loved that it was on the second floor, a short walk to the beach, and the pool. Convenience and relaxation! It was super clean and had fun beach vibe decor. It was so lovely to celebrate summer here!

Lovely stay!

We were surprised how close we were to the water. You see the water from tye livingroom and master bedroom. Clean, all cooking utensils, pans - etc. Was provided. Excellent communication! Beds are comfortable, beach towels and chairs provided. Heads up - light/fan contols are not hung on the wall in every room. It's separate and looks king of like a star trek com.

Beautiful Christmas

We loved spending Christmas here! The weather was perfect! The condo had everything we needed. We loved walking on the boardwalk to the beach with plenty of beach chairs and towels to use.

Absolutely perfect

Wow! This place was awesome in every way. Here are some key points for us that really made this place perfect: Very close to the beach. You can hear the water from the back patio. They have sand toys and beach chairs! Washer and dryer IN the unit. The beds are super comfy. TVs in every room! Board games! A very well stocked kitchen and they have everything. They were super generous with toilet paper and bags etc. I can’t say enough great things. Truly. The grounds are pristine and loads to do. Gracious neighbors and just an overall perfect everything. Thank you so much for the wonderful Texan hospitality that we love so much.

Fantastic Condo!

Our family had the best time staying at this condo! The location is great as it’s close to shops, restaurants, and beach access. The views were gorgeous! The condo was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary equipment for food/drinks, and had a washer/dryer. The facility has two pools, one directly across from this condo. Our family had the best time and can’t wait to go back. We will definitely stay here again!

Friends Vacay

Our fave family vacay spot is Port A, so we brought our friends along this time to experience the island. Island Retreat is always a great choice for lodging because of it's ease of access to the beach, loads of on site amenities and updated in town condos.

I loved the placed but feel like it wasnt cleaned properly. There was shattered glass all over the patio. All the windows in the patio were filthy which tell me the cleaning person never went out there. Found wrappers under the master bed as well. If i would to stay at this property again i would bring all my own pots and pan. The ones at the property are all scratches up or rusted. Not somthing you want to be cooking for your family with.We ended up buying a set so we could cook. The place is a perfect spot from the beach, just a quick walk.

Nice beach proximity

The listing was spot on for proximity to the beach and ease of access. The beach gear provided by the property was a nice surprise. Laundry facilities in the unit were helpful. Kitchen appliances were all working and helped our stay. I'm always skeptical of what the beds will be like in VRBO properties, but these were generally comfortable. The pool was close, clean, and provided a nice way to close out the day. The property seemed clean but in general need of maintenance. One door appeared to be missing a lock, some attempts at patching holes in the drywall that were incomplete, and some of the window coverings were in a state of disrepair.

Gulf View

This is a great unit! It is on the second floor (of three floors), so you can see the Gulf of Mexico over the dunes from the balcony. The path to the beach is very close to the building and one of the pools is right across the parking lot from the building. The furnishings were nice and it had everything we needed (except Kleenex). It was nice that they provided beach chairs and umbrellas. The onsite management (there Monday-Friday) and the folks at AvantStay were very responsive. I would definitely stay at this property and in this unit again. I didn't receive check-out instructions and full information about the property by email until the morning of check-out, which seems like it was a glitsch. Check-out was easy. We only had to take out the trash and start the dishes.

Absolutely Amazing!!

This was JUST what was needed!!! Hosts were so nice!! Place was VERY clean! Plenty of supplies! Amazing views!!! SUPER relaxing!!! Loved sitting on the balcony with my coffee in the morning and relaxing there at night just listening to the ocean and feeling the breeze. We will for sure be back!! My only regret is not being able to stay longer. It was the perfect time!!

Easter Weekend

Very clean with a great view!

The property was well taken care of and very clean. My wife was checking in corners and underneath beds and she was very impressed with the cleanliness. Beautiful location and great views from the second floor balcony.

Just as we remembered!

We had such a good time last year, we had to come back! Even though the weather was not as cooperative, we enjoyed sitting on the porch with our coffee watching the sun rise and set and the easy access to the beach when the sun made its brief appearance. Here's hoping we can come back again next year!

Nice 4th of July Stay

Great place to stay but in a dead zone for cell service.

We enjoyed the condo! It was very clean, well kept, great view, great amenities. I would easily give a 5 star however we were in a 100% dead zone with our cell phones. With me having to be connected while out of town this did cause us some issues during our stay.

Lovely property

We had a lovely stay at the property. The property was clean and well maintained. It's a great location. The beach is fabulous and the apartment is very comfortable. We had a minor issue with a kitchen drawer not working our second day at the property. We let the property manager know and they had someone over to fix the issue within an hour. They were very prompt and helpful with responses. We were stay here again!

Location

We wanted a Gulf view and this property delivered. With quick beach access and a second story balcony we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The flat was cozy and well stock especially the kitchen, the bed spacious and comfortable…we were in want of nothing.

Fantastic Beach Home !!

My family and I recently stayed at this lovely beach house for a weekend vacation and we couldn't be happier with our experience! The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable, ensuring that we all got a good night's rest a after spending our days at the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals at home when we didn't feel like eating out. One of the best things about this home was its location - it was just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy for us to enjoy the sun, sand, and surf without having to worry about parking or transportation. The home also had a large outdoor balcony with plenty of seating, which was perfect for enjoying our meals or just lounging outside. The owner of the home was very responsive and easy to communicate with, making the booking process and check-in/out seamless.
