This is movie star Veronica Lake and lyricist Joseph McCarthy's restored summer farmhouse. Experience a flash back in time at the bar, on the porch, in the hot tub or walking the grounds and imagine the laughter and good cheer.

When you visit and stay in the farmhouse, you will feel the presence of celebrities visitors such as Marlon Brando, Debbie Reynolds, Nat King Cole, the Ziegfeld's and Broadways dancing girls.

This peaceful serene property is surrounded by 171 acres of mountain and pastural farmland. 100 lavender plants grow near the barns which are used to store ATVs for guided tours on 7.5 miles of trails.

A oversized fireplace is in the living room, and a modern kitchen with all the appliances make your gourmet cooking easy. A large wrap around sunporch encloses the historic green naugahyde bar in the entertainment room.

Upstairs you will find Veronica's bedroom with 13 roses her mother gave her after each movie and a panda bear to represent the 100 she collected.

Would have liked to have had a real oven. We are a family who cooks family dinner.Would have liked to have had a few towel bars/hooks in bathrooms/bathrooms.Lovely property, very clean, love the firepit with nice seating, lovely and well groom grounds, peaceful, not too far from attractions/activities.
