The room was quiet and clean. The one quibble I have is with the air-conditioning. There are informational sheets in the room explaining: it is central A/C and the temperature is set by management according to some guideline. So it kicks off in the evening. The individual guest cannot control the temperature. I am very heat-intolerant and like to sleep in a very cold room. Couldn't do it here. The neighborhood offers decent dining options and it is not very far to walk to the main sites of Cordoba.

3 nights in Cordoba

Small family run hotel just inside the historical centre of the town. Great location for exploring Cordoba and surrounding area, close to station, park, buses,cafés, shops. Single rooms quite small and a bit dated but perfectly adequate. Extremely clean, nice hot shower and very comfy bed. Staff helpful and pleasant. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again!

Cheap and cheerful

Great location for train station and centre of town. Its basic but spotlessly clean. Staff were all helpful abd friendly. Could be a little bit noisy at times but i'd use it again.

Hotel is conveniently located. 15 minute walk from train/bus stations and about a 20 minute walk to the Mezquita. Service was excellent.

Hotel Riviera Cordoba

Loved it. 10 min walk to everything. Clean , well kept . Not great insulation but it is an old building so what do you expect. Loved the feel of a neighbourhood. Great restaurant just around the corner. Also great coffee shop around the other corner. Also near a lovely park with good restaurant.

Good place to stay in the heart of new town

I stayed here for 2 nights and thought it’s an ok place. Well priced and well located, shopping streets are just seconds away from the property and train station is like 10 min walk! Super convenient for me. The room is clean, though simple and basic, I found it very nice and cosy. The only thing is the staff, saw two at the front desk and none of them bothered to greet you properly and warm heartedly other than a automatic ‘hola’ whenever someone passes by, which, tbh, doesn’t change me good feeling about the city and other good parts of the hotel but, it’s the little things that really touches peoples heart and make them come back, hopefully this can change to the better.

Fraudulent behavior by staff.

The heat did not work adequately and I could hear the couple down the hall having intercourse due to vents in the door. The hot water was inadequate and when I tried to check out and pay with a credit card, the desk attendant kept cancelling the transaction and demanded I pay in cash. After the police were called, the credit card transaction miraculously went through. This fraudulent behavior is unacceptable.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It's is its most attractive feature. It's at a short distance of downtown Cordoba (Mezquita-Catedral 10/15 min. walk) and the central train station (about 10 min walk), placed just in between. Other interesting places are close-by. Madinat Zahrat - Cordoba bus can be taken at a short distance (less than 5 minutes away) in case you want to go the archaeological site.

The location was absolutely perfect and decent for the price. The walls are a little thin so I could hear some guests in other rooms a few times, but nothing that made my stay difficult. Excellent hotel and excellent staff. It’s not very fancy, it’s simple, clean, and comfortable

When you walk in in the room it looks welcoming. The room and restroom were clean. The bed was comfortable. My only complain with this hotel was that I could not get a descent nights sleep. All night there was noise from the rooms on the floor that I stayed on. The floors are ceramic and the furniture is wood so you can hear the screeching of furniture every time somene moves a chair or any other type of piece furniture in the room that they are in. Although I was moved to another floor where the a/c was working better the room still felt warm.
