An incredible stay out in the mountains! We felt completely secluded from the bustling cities with only an hour drive to Colorado Springs. Truly a gorgeous property and very well maintained. Fully stocked kitchen wear and spices really helped us feel right at home, we can't wait to comeback and stay again!

This house is huge! You could easily have 15 people in this house and have plenty of room. The home was clean and neat. The hot tub was a lifesaver after spending the day hiking. The host were fabulous. This place has it all! We want to go back and take our friends. Watching a herd of elk, less than a mile from the house, was so cool. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

The property was absolutely beautiful, exactly as listed. Fully stocked for cooking for the family while there. My kids loved seeing the deer up close on the property. The location was central to all of the activities we had planned. Viola was hands down the best host I’ve had through VRBO. She was super helpful and communicative. We’ll definitely be back!

Great time with family

We have family a mile away from this house, so this was the perfect location to celebrate two birthdays and Independence Day with them. The children’s toys and amenities were very much appreciated! The kitchen was well laid out and had plenty of cooking utensils and appliances to make almost anything. A reasonable selection of spices, sugar, coffee, tea, and some cooking oil. We bought catsup and mustard for hotdogs, so left those for the next guests too. Our host responded quickly when we had a question, even on the holiday. Overall, an excellent time was had by all.

Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay at the Timber Star Lodge. We had access to everything we needed and more. The house was fully stocked and everything was as advertised. The host, Viola, was very friendly and communicative and made sure that we lacked nothing. We will stay here again if we take another trip to that area!

Everything was so great. No complains at all. Beautiful view, had my morning coffee out on the deck and some friendly deer come by and say good morning. The host was amazing with exsplain everything. Will definitely be back

Fantastic Getaway

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights- just a little getaway to unplug and recharge- this is the perfect place for it! The hot tub was fantastic and the house had everything we needed and more. It was quiet and private and the little store in town had all of the necessities. 10/10

Simply wonderful cabin in Florissant, CO!

Upon arriving at our cabin, it was a wonderful location with beautiful scenery in the area and easy to locate and access. Four-wheel-drive is recommended during the winter season as we did receive snow and it is a steep grade for the entrance. They even had fresh flowers on the main dining room table for us that my girls and wife noticed right away and made us feel special. All the amenities were as needed, including snow, shovels, and any other gear to clear snow off the vehicles. Hot tub worked out great and was in a nice location on the deck, easy accessible. Cabin had plenty of rooms and was very very clean and the self climate control system maintained a great atmosphere for us during our stay. Will definitely recommend to families that want to get out to wonder and explore the area near the Florissant/Divide Colorado region. Viola was an excellent host and was very easy to communicate with during our stay.
