New staff was very friendly. Pool/lazy river was awesome! Food & drinks at the restaurant were great! Down side... When I asked for a first aide kit & ice pack, they couldn't give me anything when my son stubbed his toe in the pool. Breakfast was not so great but filled the void. Our room floor was strangely sticky/slimy. Over all, was great location & fit our need pre & post cruise.

The room appeared to have some mold in the AC vent and around the base of the shower. There were also a few small ants in the shower, though it wasn’t a major issue since we were able to rinse them away. The rooms themselves were very outdated. Otherwise, the room and hotel served their purpose for a one‑night stay. The built in restaurant appeared to be reasonable priced but slow around the dinner hour which was to be expected. Breakfast was a typical 'free breakfast' - nothing to run home about.

Lou checked us in and gave awesome recommendations for the area. Super clean facility with a cute vintage vibe. Pool area is very nice and spread out with lots of room. Continental breakfast was great too!

The best part of this hotel is the staff!! The woman who checked us in was charming and witty. All the breakfast staff were also very friendly and within walking distance to Ron Jon’s and McDonald’s. We even resceived a coupon for Ron Jon at check in which we happily used. As for the grounds and rooms themselves, they are in desperate need of refurbishment. The bedsheets made me itch all night so I opted to shower at 3am and sat in a chair for the rest the night. The bathroom was disgusting. Hair on the wall from a previous guest and very run down. The exterior of the hotel could be nice with a fresh coat of paint. Despite the name of the hotel, it is not beachside (my fault for not checking).
